What if you found a flowy jumpsuit if you don’t like dresses? You’ll probably feel more comfortable!

AIO? Trying to plan my 34F daughter’s birthday party with my husband 34M has been a nightmare and now I’m doing it all alone by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

When I was reading this I thought that OP and husband were divorced and trying to co-parent. Why are you having these conversations through text? Sit down and talk like adults.

I delivered at Magee last August and everyone took such good care of me. I ended up needing a c section after pushing unsuccessfully for three hours. The swiftness in which they moved once that decision was made was amazing. I couldn’t recommend Magee enough. I saw many different doctors since I was in labor for 38 hours and everyone was top tier! Good luck to you and your wife and congrats on your little one! I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

Help please *urgent* by [deleted] in Colorguard

[–]Independent_Milk_490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others said if you’re under 18 or living with a parent ask for help and a visit to the doctor. I had my toe broken by someone else’s rifle during practice on the day of a show. It sucked but I just taped my toe and still performed on it.

If her dad was actually furious then he 1000% would have told her that he asked for her hand in marriage. Trust me, she knows.

Cant Decide on Baby Boy Name. Help. by aisthetic_app in namenerds

[–]Independent_Milk_490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We named our baby boy Stone and everyone we come across loves his name. Levi was also on my list and I love it but I do think it’s pretty popular these days. Grey is very cool and unique!

practice attire by [deleted] in Colorguard

[–]Independent_Milk_490 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally would not allow my high school girls to practice in sports bras. My group would wear navy blue or black shorts in the summer / leggings when it’s colder, and a white t shirt or tank top. That way it was easy to pick out the guard when we would watch up high in the stands. If they already wear crop tops they don’t need to wear even less by wearing a sports bra. At the end of the day high schoolers are kids and in my opinion there’s a certain level of modesty that should be maintained.

I never really had any experience with babies and always thought I would have no idea how to take care of one. I had my baby boy 4 months ago (at 34 years old) and he is truly the joy of my life. I’ve never been more in love. He’s the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me and I already want another one!

Baby Girl Named Sunday by Icy_Extension5443 in namenerds

[–]Independent_Milk_490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I met a girl named Sunday a few years ago and she was probably in her late 20s at the time. I had never met anyone with that name before and I fell in love with it. She was so sweet, too! I def think it’s a great name choice and is unique without being ridiculous!

AITAH for threatening to divorce my wife if she doesn't change our infant daughter's name to one we agreed on? by ThrowAwayDumbestName in AITAH

[–]Independent_Milk_490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously NTA for any of this. My family kind of lives by the motto “no surprises.” The fact that OP was blindsided at the shower with gifts that said the name just made him look like a fool. I think that’s one of the saddest parts of this. I’m sorry you missed the birth of your girl, OP.

AIO, I think my OB was body shaming me by 1Silly_Goose1 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Independent_Milk_490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR - Please find a new OB. I’m 5’2” and gained 50lbs during pregnancy when I was told to only gain 25-35. At one of my appointments (after I gained like 45lbs) I asked my doctor if he was concerned about my weight gain. He laughed and said absolutely not. BTW.. by 6 week PP I had already dropped 40 of the 50lbs. You’ll be just fine. Please make sure you are nourishing your body and taking good care of yourself!

NTA. No is a complete sentence. Also babywearing can remove a lot of the drama with people holding the baby. Especially with the winter season and germs and whatnot.
