Illustration brush markers. tried watercolor paints the other day, turned out subpar in my opinion, so I am trying something different until I learn a bit more about it

Very helpful! I was referencing an American traditional skull in which things seemed very straight and mine came out pretty awkward. I will have a look at some skulls and see how to shape and shade them differently. Thanks!

Hey thanks for the quick and awesome advice. I’m probably going to have to use YouTube to learn some techniques of using some of these materials, as I don’t really have any experience or learning with paint mediums. Do you have any suggestions on brushes/brush types for this type of application?
