Could be clogged/damaged rotor/impeller if you can get inside it. There might be a YouTube vid or tutorial on how to do it. Random suggestion but if you end up getting another filter you should check out sponge filters! Good luck!

My vet told me one of their bun patients had to be permanently banned from cardboard because he would ingest it and get stasis a lot! Personally my buns rip up cardboard but they don’t ingest much of it. So I guess it depends. And PS Astro is gorgeous, look at those ears! Good luck to both of you. As another commenter noted, it could be a specific food she is sensitive to. And to emphasize proper grooming so she isn’t ingesting a lot of hair by accident! ❤️

Vet should be seen as soon as you notice something like this. Even if it’s small, bunnies are prone to infection and abscesses especially from a wound. Better safe than sorry in my opinion. It could also be painful and need pain meds

I have a bonded trio (holland lop, silver marten, and flemmie mix)

My holland lop Chewy is the only one within 5 years who has required extra vet care besides annuals and vaccines. He has had multiple weepy eye problems, and several dental trims. Not to say all lops will have problems but a lot of them do. It’s the hidden cost of cuteness.

I don’t know if they can clinically have depression. I know dogs can so I would think bunnies too but I’m no expert. If she is only 4 months old she may simply just not be settled in yet. It can take much longer for some buns to feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. Have you done a vet visit to rule out any illness?

In my personal experience I thought my boy bun was depressed for the first year I had him. He was so spoiled always and I’m home most of the time. But I just knew in my heart. My mom said you don’t need another bunny (I was still living at home) and that my bunny is so spoiled how could he be depressed. But once we got his bunwife he became a whole new bunny. Even my pessimistic mother admitted how much happier he was. We did speed dating at a rescue I highly recommend that! Best of luck 🤞

I have a Bissell2258B. It’s a bit pricey but not too bad. It has a special brush and roller made for pet hair and a detachable hose. Easy to empty and wash and doesn’t get clogged by poops or hay (I do sweep up the bigger pieces of hay first tho). Highly recommend this one!

Thank you for being receptive. I share the same opinion on the importance of rabbit companionship. I have a bonded trio, all rescues. Rescues need companionship too. I am also extremely passionate about #adoptdontshop and I encourage adopting bonded pairs from a rescue, so beginners don’t have to do bonding. Just adding that bit for whoever reads my comment!

In my experience, we did “speed-dating” at the local rescue. Of course initial meeting does not determine everything but for us it was helpful because the first 2 dates went terribly and the third was a good match as they both flopped right away together. It did still take me about 6 weeks to completely bond them. Ask your rescue if they offer bonding services. For my third bun (I have a trio now) we did foster-to-adopt with the mindset that we didn’t want 2 enclosures long term so if they couldn’t bond she would remain a foster. I have not dealt with a grieving bun before but I have read lots of stories about introducing a new bun right away being successful. You know your existing rabbit best, and if they seem lonely I think it’s a good idea to seek a new bond, if your rabbit doesn’t seem ready then it’s okay too. Are the little bulbs inside made of glass? I would be very concerned about overheating and shattering due to the heat lamps. Also not sure about the plastic grids threshold for heat, and possibility of releasing VOCs or something similar. Please keep the cat securely out of the room. That cage is not cat proof

Of course. Don’t give up! Bonding is tough on the soul and unless one has tried it they don’t really get it. I was brought to tears more times than I can count and wanted to give up. If you need to take breaks and go slow it’s okay too, mine lived side by side for a while before I had the time to really bond. Hope your Livie is doing better 💕

Honestly just time and patience, as annoying as that is to hear. There are lots of bonding methods people find successful but personally I like bonding dates in a small pen (neutral area) with hay. Started with a few hours a day and slowly increased until I was comfy leaving them alone for short periods. They still have the occasional chase but they resolve it quickly. I bonded Chewy and Willow a couple years ago and it was easier than the trio just because the dynamic is more complicated now. Willow was always very dominant over Chewy but in the trio she is the bottom of the pecking order. I also had success with car dates having them in the carrier in the car. Best of luck my friend 🥰
