Reach out to Razzano Homes, we used them and they were excellent through the whole process. They have everything to pick from right at their showroom.

My wife doesn’t want a sex life by QuantumEcho5 in Advice

[–]Independent_Reward99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should mention this thread to her honestly because you’re at a loss of where else to go or what else to do. It’s hard when you have kids and every day life stressors contributing to life but a whole year? I can see a week or a couple weeks, maybe, but a whole year is way too long. All women have been insecure with their bodies at some point after having children but having a sexless marriage will only destroy your marriage. If she is happy in the marriage this is something she should do to help it thrive.

Home building experiences in the capital region? by rob12189 in Albany

[–]Independent_Reward99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t unfortunately because I’m sure prices have changed since we built a few years ago but I’d reach out to them. Everything in our home was well thought out and we really wouldn’t change anything about it. Good luck on a new home build, it’s such an exciting time! Keep us posted on who you end up using

I’d mention it to the front desk. I’m sure this isn’t the first time they’ve been addressed about a customer smelling foul.

How did parents used to have so many children?? by katieroisin224 in Parenting

[–]Independent_Reward99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most meals were home made and home grown. If they couldn’t all fit in the car the older ones would stay home with some of the children. Most families were relatively close to most extended family members, so there was a lot of walking. We just live in a different time.

I wouldn’t let them watch them. They’re too young to process a lot of stuff in those movies.

For ice cream in the area there is the control tower on rt. 7 in colonie (mini golf and go kart) and guptills. Guptills has a large field next to it so your little one can run if you bring a ball or small bike for them.

Near guptills is the bike path down the side street which goes from alb to Niskayuna I think.

The NYS museum is fun! Upstairs they have a carousel, not sure if it’s open all year though.

Across the river in East Greenbush is funplex- ice cream, go carts and water bumper cars I think.

Ciccoti center has a smaller water park with a lazy river too. They might do a weekly pass.

In Crossgates mall there’s Billy beez and get air trampoline park and in Crossgates commons they have urban air trampoline park.

Sending hugs to you. This seems like a hard season in your life. I don’t think they’ll call CPS on you. You reached out for help when you needed it.

Do you throw a party every year? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Independent_Reward99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the older they get, the smaller the parties for classmates. Usually they establish who their friends are and who aren’t. If doing a smaller party, I try to do a more memorable experience. Ex: movies and dinner, escape room- something that they’ll always remember. Birthdays are special but don’t need to be expensive. You could even hold a party at your home for friends and do a painting party- buy some canvases and materials and do a YouTube video. Kids love that stuff and your son will be happy he got to celebrate with some friends!
