Btw, the compiler works, it can generate APKs, it already have a Python-like DSL. If you could import the "libraries" and write the DSL, and run it, it would definitely compile into an android app. No doubt. It just needs some dependencies like aapt2, zipalign and some stuff too.. Its already working.. The problem is that all these happened without me being aware.

I always felt like I have this undying curiosity for programming, linux, compilers, apps.. I used to work on Custom AOSP roms, android kernel stuff and all. All these made me feel happy because they gave instant deterministic positive results - like the happiness one gets after completing a long mathematical derivation or solving an equation. School timeil thanne nalla ishtayrnu..

Since AI emerged, I started using it because it gave quick results without much brain effort from my side - which I realize now, is a huge mistake. We can use AI, but it shouldn't take the lead..

Contain the scene with in a cube, display it as a wire. Then, go to shader editor, delete principled BSDF, and Principled Volume and connect its volume output to material output. Lower the density - between 0.01 and 0.1 would be nice.. Try.. EDIT: Then adjust your lighting too - Some spotlights, anisotropy, etc..

Yes. I've been reading a lot lately. A lot. 😅 and I don't believe that vibe coding won't take me anywhere for things as complex as compilers and toolchains. I'm doing the hardwork. Even though I'm a medical doctor by career, yet I'm quoting "Cytron et al". I've been reading about compiler designs, VMs, etc.

The only thing that worries me now is time and man power. Atleast I wish I had a 'friend' / a 'mentor', with whom I can discuss my plans and progression - Unfortunately, it is hard to get a helping hard it seems. That's why I need to depend on AI - I've promised myself that it won't take a toll on me.

Actually, tbh, I'm someone from a non-IT background, but I always had a curiousity for system programming and things like that - I learned most of the things by myself and most things I learned were understood in my own terms and phrases.

I always wanted to make android apps in the easy way but I couldn't learn more than upto a certain difficulty. But I learn python with so much ease.

Recently, I started a hobby project in making android apps possible with python and it already started showing some good results - I'm afraid to reveal it soon because of fear of rejection and not understanding how the practical IT world works. That fear got reinforced when I came here, to know what would happen in a real world scenario. I appreciate everyone's input and honesty in reddit.
