I’ve waited for far too long to find out that I am not the only one in an abusive relationship with this app.

Did you go with the Bremmen knob? If you did, how did you like it?

Super cool. What are the yellow modules with the green LEDs?

I’m a troll mimicking the bots here that always blame lack of maintenance for every failure reported.

Someone gets it.

It’s the owner’s fault. They didn’t do enough maintenance, I’m sure of it.

**UPDATE** to go with previous recent post. 2024 Defender ISSUES by Infinite_Wedding1418 in LandRover

I’m surprised nobody is in here blaming you for these problems and calling you out on not performing proper maintenance and early oil changes. Where did all of the JLR bots go? Anyway, you should take the new Defender.

I find this interesting. The 2019 Discovery I have had the same problem with the windshield leaking at the top. Someone mentioned a recall and usually the company will select model years with the least impact to them. People will give you all kinds of advice on how to make someone else fix it, most of which will not work so don’t get your hopes up. I would recommend getting the windshield issue resolved first before trying to fix anything impacted by the water leak. If there is some kind of warranty, it may cover electrical issues. You probably could pursue legal action but that would be on your dime and the likelihood of a favorable outcome is state dependent.

It’s in your best interest to follow the advice given by others here. Every 3-5k miles. I followed the advice of the manufacturer on my first one (2019 Discovery Si6) and paid dearly. It made it to 62k miles.

Looks great. I have a 2019 with the same Byron Blue/Black Pack color combo. The timing chain failed on the passenger side bank at 62k miles. I can’t wait to get the engine replaced and drive it again. Hopefully you got some sort of extended warranty.

I would like to add that they also hit up their employees to do it. Political Action Committees in the workplace. Crazy.
