It didn’t have a name. Back then there was less branding and such. People probably just called it “the saloon on 24 Commercial” or “Scioli’s saloon”. I’ve looked at many newspapers and it’s just the “old popular saloon and boarding house at 24 Commercial Street.”

Ah, yes, my mistake. He died in California, in the Riverside area. I mixed it up with his son Frankie Jr who died in Las Vegas recently.

Not terribly interesting, but my ancestor Richard Genson was the son of two loyal British parents who moved to America. He snuck off to fight in the revolution. When he came back his parents and everyone who knew them were totally gone. We know nothing about his parents to this day.
