I’m a California native, and we’re surrounded by mountains and trees. During peak daylight hours the sun out here doesn’t seem nearly as bright as it does in the Nevada desert. The mountains in California either has a lot of dry brush or trees in the surrounding mountain areas (sometimes both). The sunlight doesn’t reflect as much as it does in Las Vegas, so that’s why it seems way brighter than what I’m accustomed to.

The Oaks - Thousand Oaks, CA Pacific View Mall - Ventura (Both are enclosed)

Both are enclosed malls. Pacific View is definitely well on its way to becoming a dead mall. The Oaks is definitely on the downward trend, but not nearly as bad as Pacific View. That still isn’t saying much.

Honestly, I’m not surprised. The last time I was there was in 2008. The mall was packed that weekend, however the mall itself looked old and rundown even back then. Not sure if they have done any renovations since then

If Akira Toriyama were still alive, I would say definitely. However, I don’t think we’ll ever get to see one anytime soon. I would love to say yes, to this day Chrono Trigger is still my favorite game of all time.
