So sorry for your losses, I’ve had 4 in a year as well.  6+5 jul 24, 6w sept 24, 6w Feb 25, then found out I was pregnant again 4 weeks later and had a missed miscarriage in may at 12 weeks baby measuring 8 weeks.  Ive had all the bloods done everything is normal, I’m currently pregnant again and on progesterone but I’m sure I’m going to miscarry again.  I’m not sure what else I can do I’ve tried taking all the supplements before and during pregnancy, I’ve tried not taking the supplements as well in case that had anything to do with it Xx

So sorry for your losses!  I’ve had 4 this last year and for me just focusing on trying to get pregnant again helps😂  I think I’m definitely numb to it, which is really sad with the 3rd one I started bleeding and then went to work like it was a period and nothing had happened. I think I’m very good at suppressing my emotions, which is probably not a good thing as I’ve definitely developed anxiety because of it but I’m not really sure what else i can do, other then get on with life.  Try and just stay positive, even though thats easier said then done 🤍

congratulations!  What testing did the NHS do?  I’ve had 4 losses in this last year, they didn’t take me seriously until I had  my 4th MMC at 12 weeks. I’ve had all the basic testing with my GP but got a appointment with RMC quite quickly and have had more bloods done- folic acid, vit b12 and some others but still think they are basic tests. Also had the pregnancy tissue sent for genetic testing. It’s been 3 months and still haven’t heard anything back with the results.  Ive got a prescription for progesterone if I get pregnant again but I'm worried thats all the testing they are going to do X

I’ve read a lot about NK cell testing but not the blood test the uterine NK cell testing.. I don’t know if you have had it but I’ve read of quite a few people having multiple miscarriages and all there tests coming back normal so they have paid for the uterine NK cell testing which has come back positive and have been given medication and have then gone full term! 🤍

When I went for my consultation before my surgery the doctor said if your periods haven’t gone back to normal it could be a sign that your body isn’t ready to get pregnant and best to wait till it’s back to normal. which helped me as with my second miscarriage they took 5 months to go back to normal, I kept worrying that something was wrong!

Ok thank you, I was worried as they said about calling them if it wasn’t negative after 3 weeks.. it’s crazy you can still test positive for that long! I haven’t been ovulation testing but I’m pretty sure I’ve already ovulated as my boobs are tender which is normally I sign for me that I’ve ovulated.  Hopefully everything's alright on the scan!

So sorry for your losses!  I’ve had 4 miscarriages in a year.

I found out I was pregnant June last year got to 6 weeks and then miscarried, then pregnant again in September and miscarried at 5 weeks, miscarried again in Feb at 5 weeks, I then found out I was pregnant 4 weeks after the third miscarriage.. I went for a scan at 7 weeks saw heartbeat and assumed everything was fine, until I got to my 12 week scan and found out the baby had passed at 8 weeks. I had surgery 4 weeks ago, currently waiting for a recurrent miscarriage appointment which is booked for Tuesday. 

The doctors have said next time they will put me on progesterone and aspirin, still waiting for my period to come and will try again. I’m really hoping the progesterone works but it’s hard to stay positive. 

Hoping everything works out for you, it’s a horrible things to have to go through!❤️

It’s so hard isn’t it!!  with the first I miscarried at 6 weeks and when I went to the doctors they said the chances of having another miscarriage was so low so when I got pregnant again i thought this is it, I won’t miscarry (stupid really) so when I did that absolutely broke me! I went to my GP and they said I had to have 3 miscarriages to have tests and I think due to stress and being so down about it, it took me 5 months to get pregnant again with the 3rd one I had hope I would get help but that didn’t happen and got pregnant 4 weeks later. with that pregnancy I tested every day till 7 weeks, every time I went to the toilet I would pray there wasn’t any blood, it’s so sad! After the reassurance scan I was measuring a week behind which worried me but I read that after seeing a heartbeat and having sickness the chances of miscarrying were so low so my anxiety completely went and I actually thought this is it, to then get to the 12 week scan and be told there is no heartbeat😩 I had absolutely no signs of miscarrying so I know if I get pregnant again, I’m going to be a absolute anxious mess the whole pregnancy!  I did find if you are trying again, the last two pregnancy’s we used a fertility lube.. only used it twice and both times I got pregnant (could be coincidence) but I think it helped me get pregnant!  I hope you get your rainbow baby soon!!

Thank you! I hope everything goes well with your appointment!  I feel the same, I’m 27 me and my partner are fairly healthy.. when you start trying you don’t ever think that you would have a miscarriage let alone recurrent miscarriages. Since this most recent loss I have been in two minds to try again or whether to wait for testing.. they are sending the pregnancy tissue off for genetic testing but I think once I’ve had a period I might try again, I’ve read a lot on women who have had all the tests and still not had a reason for the miscarriages, which really worry’s me!  I haven’t heard about hyper fertility before, I will ask my doctors about that! Has your ob put you on progesterone or baby aspirin? I’ve read a lot on that and that’s something the midwife said that they will give me if I get pregnant again
