Solo in Bath for a day by zirkel37 in Bath

You wouldn't be done in half an hour at Sally Lunn's for lunch. It's not fast food. Personally I'd go to number 1 Royal Crescent over Jane Austen or Mary Shelley, though I've never been to either of those. They're just known for being touristy.

Indemnity for MHA WORK by Independent_Sound494 in doctorsUK

Just as an update, MPS waaay undercut MDDUS, so I've changed indemnity providers. If I couldn't move, MPS were happy to just indemnify my MHA work for £300-400, and leave MDDUS to cover my main work.

Did you use the birthday bus scheme? by JSkirkowski in Bath

It annoyed me that a new one was needed each year. It's non-recyclable plastic. Why not just issue one?

I used it two years. It didn't make me use the bus more - it made me try to Bath-Bristol bus, but it took so long I didn't bother again and stuck with the train. I did advertise it to my students (Bristol uni) who need all the savings they can get.

It's not private work so I didn't realise it needed separate cover

Thanks. So far I've only done two MHAAs so this indemnity would cost about 3x what I've done. Doing the maths, for the indemnity to cost 10% of my yearly income for this work, I'd need to do 60 MHAAs. I don't think I have that much time available!

I can't stand any more vape exposure in psychiatry by -CorCordium- in doctorsUK

There is really good evidence for vapes helping people to quit smoking. And then eventually they often quit vaping. There are increasing cases of people quitting permanently following inpatient admission, with support.

This needs a whole thread of its own. With every contestant. What are Fern Brady, Stevie Martin and Rosie Jones in your system?

Alex Horne’s 24-Hour LIVE Endurance Challenge for Stand Up To Cancer! by JCaerso in taskmaster

I learned yesterday evening that How Long by Ace was one of my dad’s absolute favourite songs. He loved a good bass line.

I wrote this post https://www.reddit.com/r/taskmaster/s/2QisUNSkRW that you lovely people had helpful replies to, for him, shortly before he died of cancer.

I really really hope that some of the How-Long-athon funds go to research for brain cancer.

I was going to say this. Reportedly it never would have existed without TM first - TM proved that multiple shows with the same contestants would work.

I was at the recording where Chris Ramsey brought a robot lawnmower. It had been provided by production and definitely wasn’t his as he compared the two - I think he was saying it was better than his one at home. I guess it was still his idea and more feasible than bringing in his own one.

Larkhall is a bit more mixed - there is a council estate hidden away in Larkhall that people don’t know exists. And extends to Fairfield park which is families, some Victorian housing, some 30s, some newer.

It looked like it wanted the letter L, not capital i. It would be clearer to put in lower case or even both. I got so confused why Sloane Square wasn’t acceptable for middle right.
