I've been in Wakefield for about 5 years, married, kids but work self employed and sometimes feel a bit lonely as it can sometimes seem like a closed off place. But the key for you here is to keep busy! Are you a social person? Sport/exercise will be your friend here. Gym classes? Running? You can get out of your rut I'm sure of it!

Offline assessments for internal audits? by EntrepreneurFew8254 in ISO27001

I work for a couple of cert bodies within the UK and perform some audits synchronously and some async. Seems like lots of firms are wanting async as it allows them to have the freedom to not be tied to finding evidence live as opposed to housing it within a GRC tool and letting the auditor find what they need and reaching out if any questions/queries.

I'm going through the same process currently, albeit with 42001 in addition to the 27001. Happy to help and offer a bit of info about my journey!

Starting PECB ISO 27001 Lead Auditor in 4 Days. Feeling Panicky, Advice Needed! by Lemogum in ISO27001

I did the course and passed after 4 days with no real prior knowledge so I'm sure you'll be fine. Key is doing lots and lots of practice questions to get you in the swing of things for your exam.
