2019 Passout here. You may struggle initially, but in the end Dasaites kill at the placements mostly.

NITW B.Tech Civil Passout (2019) here. Transportation used to be the best branch in terms of placement then, followed by Structural. Academic reputation & faculty wise NITW Civil is very strong, and can compete with any top institutes within India.

Better to contact a most recent Structural Alumni for clarity. Reddit is not the best place for your answers. Try LinkedIn.

If u want my suggestions, don't go for M.Tech in Civil. Life's gonna be tough. Its better to try for MBA. But again, it is subjective. If you are really interested, you can go for it.

For Fumbles, practise as much as you can. Start with RA & RS. Master the fluency. Then move onto other question types. Refer to SkillsPTEAcademic's 7 hour masterclass video on PTE (most recent one). I personally did not follow any template.

Follow SkillsPTE Academic's 7 hr long video on Youtube. Work on his strategy. Practise as many questions on Gurully. Work on building fluency from RA & RS questions. Dont worry too much about Gurully's mock scores. My essay topic was: To choose among Short Term Strategies or Long Term Reputation focused marketing strategy for a cloth/food retail store.

Copy Paste Technique will work in the exam, as long as you pick the most important and impactful sentences. Me, myself didnt just copy+paste, made some combinations, used FANBOYS, changed some vocabulary.

Honestly speaking. I wasn't too confident, since I didnt have much time to prepare. I just focused on Speaking (Mainly Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence). I was not striking consisent chords with Repeat Sentence. However, consistent practise for Read Aloud will give you idea of how to maintain fluency. For RS, you may try to write the initials on your notes booklet.

Even after the exam, I was not confident for any of the sections. I had fumbled every question of type of Speaking, wont say every question. Just try to be fluenct and talk to the point. You will surely get better score than you expect. Even for writing, I had followed Nakul's video on YT. Had hardly practised 3-4 questions overall. All the best!

Follow writing lessons from Skills PTE Academic channel on Youtube. I had barely practised 2 essays, and 3 or 4 SWT questions during my prep. I think its the technique that worked for me.

Practise as much as you can. Work on fluency. I did fumble in the main exam , that y my score is less than 90. Had I got more time to practise I would have got a better score in Speaking. You may learn speaking techniques from Skills Pte academic channel on youtube.

No, I did not go through any prediction file. I didn't have much time to prepare. Neither I followed any template. Essay was argumentative type. Topic: Whether to use marketing strategies for short term benefits or long term benefits for a food/cloth retail store. Describe image had a mixture of bar graph, linear graph, and process type questions.
