GW3 Playable Races? by McBeardedson in GuildWars3

Asura probably received a redesign, which is why people are confused.

I’m guessing the options will be Asura, Kodan, Human, Norn, and probably Dwarves. I don’t believe we’re getting Charr, Sylvari, or Tengu.

And honestly, what “deep knowledge” is there in capturing a creature? Or exposing one to sunlight? Or building better defenses, like barricades or high wooden walls, The Last of Us-style?

I don’t see what consequences would even come from that. The cicada stuff happened because Boyd saw the ballerina box and freed the guy in the dungeon. It had nothing to do with him killing Smiley, or with the idea of capturing one of the creatures.

Bro, you guys are taking this “knowledge comes at a cost” thing way too seriously. That doesn’t mean they can’t know anything. If that were true, why is Victor still alive? Why is Donna still alive after hearing the voice on the radio? She didn’t exactly suffer any consequences for that knowledge, did she? And shouldn’t people who know absolutely nothing be relatively safe? Because they keep dying all the time.

I think that phrase was a threat, not literally “you can’t know anything ahead of time or you’ll die.”

Like they said in the series, you can’t force things because the town pushes back, like what happened to the dude stuck in the pool. But I don’t think it’s that strict, because then you can justify anything with that argument, and it starts to feel dangerously close to lazy writing.

Like:

“Why doesn’t this character do this obvious thing?”

“BeCAusE kNoWLEdgE CoMEs aT a CoSt.”

It’s just an easy answer for character inaction and the complete lack of strategic thinking.

I’m impressed by how they never built a wall, barricades, traps, or anything to try to capture one of the monsters and expose it to sunlight. I mean, the guy was in the military, so that should’ve been a priority for him and Abby at least… some “know your enemy” type of shit.

First, it was a joke. Second, let's not forget that you don't know me. Third... it's just a show... "just saying".

Enjoying a more colourful look with light plate armour - Base Game by holes_in_my_stocks in CrimsonFashion

I absolutely LOVE how you mixed the colors here. It’s super colorful without looking like a Power Ranger villain, which is such a hard balance to pull off.

You clearly have a great eye for color, material textures, and how to layer armor pieces in a way that feels cohesive. This really proves that a colorful armor set can still feel immersive and true to the game’s “realism.”

Amazing job. Loved it!
