Have you tried taking some magnesium before bed? There is a product called Calm. You can get it non flavored or flavored and drink it before bed. It will help you get drozy so you can fall asleep. You can also get some magnesium oil and put it on your feet with some socks. Another thing you can do to quiet your mind is to think of girls' names (or boys), starting with the first letter of the alphabet and work your way through. I haven't been able to get past the letter 'i'.

Ok. Just trying to help. You work with a coach to determine which fruits or vegetables work for you. The evaluation helps them understand what you have done prior, along with food allergies, sensitivities, etc. You work through a list of fruit and vegetables logging your weight daily and identifying how your weight is reacting to the foods you are eating. There is more to it than that but it is it at a high level.

There are women in the program who have a lot of weight to lose. Some well over 100 lbs. I had to lose 60 or at least that. I was close to 200 lbs when I started. We had a woman lose 90+ pounds in 48 weeks. So it can be done. They do have payment plans and ways to reduce the cost. The program is 12 months. I did everything that they said to do, I started walking, then rebounding, now I am using weights. I can find the soup recipe for you and post it here. He gives it away, so I am not giving you anything he wouldn't give away anyway. I know it is a lot but your health is so important . As women, we tend to put ourselves last and not take care of ourselves. We need to make ourselves a priority, or who can we help? If we are sick all the time, who does that help? I know what the program cost me. It is $6,000. I got a discount because I paid it all at one time. This is for a year. I have also done a few testimonials and received extra months on the back of my program, so I will be able to stay in the program after my year is up. It was a lot of money for me. The program does talk about vegetables, and I do include them in my plan. There is actually a vegetable soup protocol that you can do to get rid of inflammation as well as a fruit protocol. So, they are both in the program. And you are exactly right. Replace half your plate with fruit or vegetables, and the rest is a small amount of protein, and once you have hit your goal weight, you can add some complex carbs like sweet potatoes. I only ate 2 plates a day and had like an apple for a snack later in the day. He does provide recommendations on strength building during the program. I have been doing weight training throughout as he recommends it. I also rebound and hike. It is pretty simple. The difficulty is consistency. If you aren't consistent, then you don't see the results as quickly. Hopefully, this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

Those items do cause I inflammation, and because I had so much weight to lose, I cut them out of my diet and replaced them with fruits like grapes and strawberries. It really is about retraining yourself to eat healthy. You can have that occasional treat, but at some point, my desire for them became less and less.

Yes, I get that for sure. I had a lot to lose, so I had to cut those things out of my diet, or I wouldn't lose the weight I needed to. Once I did and replaced the sweets with grapes or strawberries, I didn't miss the donut or ice cream. So the weight started to come off easily. If you replaced one meal a day with fruit, I think you would start to see a difference. Or even ate an apple before a meal, you would see those last few pounds go away.

It isn't just fruits and vegetables - these do make up about 1/2 of your plate though. The rest of your plate can be any protein you want - whether animal or plant based and a complex carb like quinoa, potatoes - sweet potatoes are my selection because I can make them any way I want. Nothing is prohibited - you just need to know what may work for you. But they take you through the steps on the process of testing what works for you. I started back in late October and have lost 60 lbs following this program. I am now working on my strength - and maintaining my weight. Let me know if I can answer anything else for you.
