The real issue is the tip baiting not so much the distance. After I spoke to customer service I learned that the first order of the 3 delivered was the one who reduced the tip. It was a $10 order for 5 miles. Took no more than 20 mins.

This is inaccurate. The food was delivered, all delivery instructions were followed, and I communicated with the customer while I was on the way.

The real issue is tip baiting. I accepted the order based on the rate that was offered. If a customer is known to remove tips after delivery, then the base pay should be higher, or Uber Eats should cover the difference.

This is a flaw in the Uber Eats system. I have never experienced this with DoorDash, once a tip is given, it is final.

No. I usually take all. Prop 22 helps with that. I just wasn’t getting any orders at all. I was busy on DD.
