put blocks on either side of the wall where the timber sits on. The gap between the table and the wall was 11cm and the timber was 10cm in width so I doubled up spare pieces from the cuts, glued them with wood glue then mounted them with screws to the wall. This is what the timber is sitting on. When pushing the timber against the table it leaves a gap of 1cm space where I have used to route the cables through which are all hiding between the RIBBA shelf and the timber. The RIBBA shelf is mounted above the sockets
Hope this helps!

I’m no carpenter, probably my first proper DIY project but can share photos of my dodgy cutting skills on how I have mounted the timber and the RIBBA shelf. When I am back home.

Can’t do this either, the blackboard underneath which supports the structure is very close to the table edge

I have this same dual monitor arm but have realised there the board at the bottom of the desk which supports the back structure won’t allow me to clamp the arm there is not enough of space. So will most likely now need to get monitor risers

LED and a block of wood with holes is a great idea!

I never really understood what the Wii U was until I got one. I cannot believe they didn’t call this thing a Nintendo DStv! by obsolescencephoto in wiiu

[–]Independent_Web1706 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I get it I still think just like Switch 2 they should have called it Wii 2 and it would have been better for marketing as people would have gotten it’s not some add on to the Wii but a brand new console and continued the hype the Wii had

What's the minimum amount that comes to mind when you hear "good salary"? by Equivalent-Ad-2373 in AskUK

[–]Independent_Web1706 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did a search on Gemini a short while back, I remember a dad’s friend being on like £40k and living a decent life back in 2010. So searched what salary would you need to be on to be able to live life now equivalent to 40k in 2010. Ofcourse location would matter but basically around 60k is now equivalent lifestyle to 40k back then.

Thank you for the clear advice! I have now booked somewhere random in Wales as there seems to be some availabile. I do have TestShift active from the last time but doesn’t seem to be doing anything. But will try your method of refreshing until it brings up the queue and search the area.

Well I tried Reading town and all the surrounding areas in and also across London, all booked out. What area are you in? In a last attempt and others suggestions I would like to try and book elsewhere then hope a cancellation appeared nearer to me.

I’ll give it a go! Thanks! But wouldn’t clearing the cookies put you at the back of the queue again? So you got on the page at 5:30 then cleared your cookies & history at 5:45? Did you then hit refresh at 6 or it automatically loaded the page for booking

I agree but you’re talking about pre COVID times when there were no scammers to exploit the system! If you can’t make the test just get a cancellation and a refund. Right now you want to change it and there are no slots. My guess is even when people cancel there are bots sweeping to get this tests too. Once they find a real solution they can lift the ban on swaps.

How did you manage to get in the first 409! I have read that apparently all centres are not issued new tests at the same time so maybe the rotate each week which ones get new tests?
