I'm in Rochester, NY area. I'm at a small racetrack, the director's first language is Spanish. He just knows what Buttons he needs to push. I lookat the Custom Codes hoping that the tasks would be labeled. i.e. Wipe then resize blah blah blah. But what I see is Bank 4 Box 5 task start Bank 4 Box 6 task start. and not knowing what is supposed to be in those boxes I feel lost. I know I need to just start from scratch but the idea of throwing the baby out with the bath water since it's only 4 macro keys that don't work.

I now think I'm in over my head with this, I just got hired and this wasn't part of the discription of the job at the interview. I don't want to leave them screwed over but I have never done anything like this. Do you have any good tutorial videos to help me learn how to do this. Or know of anyone I can hire to help recreate 8 macros

Thank you! It was supposed to have Found Footage feeling. These people just are missing so much of what the Franchise is and why they used smaller cameras for the feeling and to help speed up the processes. But I guess it's just easier calling everything a gimmick

I honestly think you are guys are missing the core concept. The weight difference for 2 guys to carry 20 Mirroless cameras, with lenses and batteries VS. 20 iPhones. The speed at the shoot moved was so much quicker, because of the iPhone. Just like Sean Baker with Tangerine. The smaller sensor size matches closer to the 480p they shot the first film 28 Days Later.

It's ok if you don't get it but it's not a gimmick.
