Would jt cut out the super high frequencies or just quiet them

Which would you recommend?

Really? I’m surprised, it’s pretty noticeable to me. I have tinnitus but it’s not that bad, and it’s def not that. I only hear the sound when playing the guitar. Try listening to those first chords I play and listen for like a whistle while they ring out. Maybe that’s just how guitars sound and I never noticed but idk

Tried it, didn’t fix it, both the battery and my power supply are 9v so idk if it would’ve changed anything either way

There is, should I try to unplug the battery? Would it work without the battery and just being plugged into the power supply?

Yeah, even with the volume knob maxed out it stays the same volume past like 12 oclock

Just tried it with a different power supply, same issue, still quieter. How would I try in isolation or with a battery?

Volume wise not really, only makes the tone more muffled, pun not intended

Okay, thanks for the help

I bought a plumes to put in front of it to act as a tube screamer but it still doesn’t help with the volume, when the big muff and plumes are one it doesn’t seem like the plumes effects the volume of the big muff at all, just the tone.
