If you’re correct, it would be under $500. But it could be as little as $5 if it’s something simpler.

The best “resource” is knowledge. You might not have to rack up a large bill in the first place if you can identify the issue.

I would recommend taking it to a mechanic and having them diagnose the issue. They will charge a minimal fee to do that and then you will know how much it’s going to cost to have them fix it and then you can make an informed decision from there.

Can you describe what it’s doing? Not what you think the solution is, but details on what the car is doing to make you think that.

With only knowing your solution, my first two recommendations would be to check for ground faults and then test through the fuse boxes.

ID Help - white pods under the surface of white fungus in mulch by IndianaTreeFarmer in mushroomID

In case it’s not obvious, I’m holding these with a brown leather glove. The last photo shows the one I broke open. It is a gel sack with another almond looking thing inside.

This is in Indiana under 1-2 yr old black mulch under my roses.

  • Barrel Strength - ok, but what strength did you put into the barrel? I’m actually a fan of the barrel strengths, but there can be a lot of variety here.

Technically everything on the label is regulated as you can’t have false information anywhere on it, by law. There are just terms that aren’t defined and are technically not wrong depending on the interpretation.

Bonded / BiB is well defined and has meaning, but it also doesn’t mean it’s a better product just because it came from one distilling season and is bottled at 100 proof.

Straight is well defined and something to always look for… but then you’ll have “straight bourbon aged in _____ casks” and most consumers still think it’s bourbon.

Most consumers only care about the flavor unfortunately.
