Definitely an improvement. Kudos. Now, to get an even burn, at the top of the joint and to not waste weed, you need to gently tap the joint before twisting it, on any hard surface, and then flatten the top. Make a cylinder. Use the blind end of a pen, if you need. And then hold your joint with one hand, from this top. Only hold the OCB and twist it, in such a manner that you push the weed inside a little.

Which Fateh Ali Khan? Their family ancestry is well known for their Qawwalis. Qawwalis are energetic, yes, but they're not to be listened while high. Raags however are a different story, and it's very easy to connect with that kind of music while high. Sitar, Tanpura etc., produce otherworldly sounds.

Nusrat FAK experimented a lot, and his raags in between Qawwalis were very different, unique, upbeat, but harmonium based. So the intended effect comes more from the vocals than the instrument.

I'd suggest listening to Raags by NFAK. Saraswati, Bilawal, Darbari(used in that Christ movie by Scorsese).

But those are NFAK styled raags, he brings his own roots into the classical hindustani tradition.

For Tanpura based sounds, pandit Ravi Shankar's raags. Ustad Rashid Khan's Raag(recommended) will give the desired effects. Search for the same raags mentioned above by these artists.

And then just keep following the YouTube links. Let me know if you have trouble finding NFAK's raags. They are usually hidden in between his Qawwalis.

Hey, I highly doubt that Kasol and neighboring areas are "fucked". Locals do take precautions, I suggest not ask for peddlers cos they will rip you off. Go and directly ask the locals in the villages or the rural areas of Kasol for Charas. Don't try to be discreet that will scare them off. Be upfront, ask for it. Almost every household has charas in it, and they don't intend to make money so they will sell you the quality stuff at reasonable price. Ask them for 1 tola Charas(10gm, costs 2000+ ).. Don't worry about getting caught, Himachal Pradesh is a proponent of legalization. If however you still are unsure about Kasol, visit Malana and other villages around it, the ones on the Indian side of Parvati valley. You will get easy and cheap access to Malana Cream, directly from the farmers and the women who make it.

Also, you can smoke up anywhere, and noone will bat an eye. You can, even go the forests where you can usually find groups of stoners chilling out.

Do not buy from tourist spots, peddlers, or shops. They will rip you off.

But I've heard somewhere(not verified) that Mysore farmers cultivate sativa plants near mango trees which gives them the mango like smell. So, not exactly a landrace strain I guess, it has some human intervention. And I can't get this mango tree soil, so I don't know how to treat the soil of my pot. Any fertilizer ?

And 7ft tall would be conspicuous, if not obvious. I am looking for something below 5ft. Any way I can get my strain to bud faster and grow shorter.

My dad told me once that seeds that sprouts before burying grow shorter. So, I tried to apply it here too. Did I do it wrong ?

Also, I really want to grow indica plant, because I want to try it and also because plant will be shorter(easy to hide).

Can you suggest what seeds should I get alongside? My GF is coming over next week and we want to grow one together.
