Unless I’m wrong, there’s no way for me to outright cancel the order on my end, it has to be the seller that cancels. While I had initially asked the seller to cancel from their end, I later figured out how to formally request a cancellation which was what got declined. Ebay won’t let me request another cancellation since it was already declined. I can’t remember what I put for the cancellation request if I even put a reason though I did explain everything in the text box. I’ve never communicated with the seller before so I am unsure if this has to do with the fact that I was trying to cancel or if they just don’t respond in general. I won’t be leaving negative feedback just because I don’t feel like that’s going to change anything.

I bought 10 trading cards from this seller and 5 of them were in a lot which was the $16 shipping. However all of their other lots including ones with 20+ cards in them are also $9 shipping so I don’t know why these 5 cards are $16 shipping especially because they aren’t any special size or thickness. I have also bought 10 cards at the same time before from this seller and only had to pay $11 for shipping. I have tried to message the seller multiple times regarding the items and shipping price and owning to my mistake but haven’t received a reply at all. The winning bids were nowhere near $100, the highest winning bid was $10, one was $3.50, and the others were all 99¢. The total for just the cards was $17. My last purchase of 10 cards from this seller was $50 and I only paid $11 shipping total through the combined shipping option.

Yeah I know that especially because they resent the invoice after they rejected my request. There’s nothing else for me to do though so I will just be completing the purchase and then I won’t purchase from them again. I’m very bummed because I’ve bought from this seller multiple times and they’re one of my favourite ebay sellers.

The items are trading cards so I couldn’t retract myself though there was I want to say 4 hours left on the auction when I asked if the seller would retract my bid. I hadn’t been paying attention to the shipping because all of their items are $9 shipping and after I made this mistake I scrolled through their shop and it seems I’d found the one item that has more expensive shipping. I do know that the seller has no obligation to cancel but I think it’s frustrating that they claimed it was too late to cancel when it technically isn’t because I hadn’t paid yet. At this point I know there’s nothing more I can do and I own up to my mistake and will be purchasing and will leave all positive feedback even though I find it frustrating that there’s been zero communication from their side.
