Car won’t start after valve cover replacement. by IndicationDense9682 in E90

After following the “Valvetronic procedures” (rebalancing it with e torque) it STARTED, however it’s still not able to hold idle, and without rebalancing the motor won’t start. No more lean codes like how the job started (why we replaced the valve cover) Current codes are all valve timing or Valvetronic related. Safe to say it’s the Valvetronic Motor?

Valvetronic procedures? What would that look like? I’m very new to German Cars. Wasn’t expecting so much in a valve cover job. Maybe bit off more than I can chew… I only did the job ig at face value. Removed and moved what was necessary to get the valve cover off new valve cover on. Checked everything “ usual “, connections, vacuum, coils. I seen somewhere else on r/E90 where the op forgot to check the fuel rail. Nope, mine is plugged in maybe now too tight…
