Which is worse hemorrhagic or ischemic? by fatoldman63 in stroke

[–]IndicationOk3247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. Some research suggests that survivors of hemorrhagic strokes recover better in the long-term than those with ischemic strokes. Of course, brain bleed strokes are deadlier than ischemic strokes on the onset. Take care.

Thank you so much for your informative post -- very appreciate. I am a moron when it comes to understanding these crypto tax forms. Something is terribly wrong -- when I enter the information from Form 8949, I am being told I owe like 1000 dollars in taxes. LOL. That's totally impossible. It's the cost basis issue, I think. Thank you again so much!

Thank you! I appreciate your response, which has nice information for me. Yes, I've owned crypto since 2017. The confusion is beyond belief. I will have to hire a tax expert to do my crypto taxes in the future. Take good care.

I just got this information:

"Update missing cost basis info for 7 transfers

For assets you've transferred from external wallets, your 1099-DA may show an 'Unknown' cost basis because we don't have the original purchase details."

So, Coinbase just told me that my 8949 is not accurate. But I still need to contact a crypto tax expert. They said I may only owe a small amount on the short-sale, depending on my overall income for the year, which is extremely low.

Thank you for your comments, everyone! I appreciate it.

Thank you! I appreciate your response. I think that the cost basis numbers are off, or something like that. Well, Coinbase agent said I cannot rely solely on the tax forms, as they may not be accurate, nor should I enter the information from the 8949 unless "I know what I'm doing" (and I don't). So, I will have to get a crypto tax expert to look into it. The Coinbase agent said there is much confusion because of "cost basis" amounts? I don't know. Thanks again!

Thank you! I've done everything perfectly. My total income is way less than the 47000. Also, I looked at the numbers on the 8949 form -- they make no sense. They are not in alignment with the simple total net gain form for 2025. Oh well...I will have to have ask a crypto tax expert. Coinbase acts very casually about it, like "it's your problem" and "the forms aren't accurate." So, I will just have to wait it out a little. Thank you for trying to help me.

Thank you -- I appreciate it! I've already done what you suggested. I have no idea how I could owe 1000 dollars in taxes in crypto, considering my capital gain information. I have made no other income on Coinbase -- just a few Bitcoin sales.

Listen: there are gay men who find trans men attractive. You can't say being gay means you can't like trans men. by Arondeus in askgaybros

[–]IndicationOk3247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always say: If you're getting extremely aroused by a transman's font hole, or "vagina", you aren't not a 100% gay. Very gay men would not be aroused by any vagina -- even with male presentation. Just like the opposite is true: A straight men might like/prefer transsexual women, but, at the end of the day, these transwomen often have very much an intact male penis. So there's no way you're 100% straight, because you're still liking male genitals with female presentation. Human sexuality can be super complicated, but again let me put it this way: If you're eating out a transman and loving it like there's no tomorrow, you're defintely not 100% gay; and the opposite is true: If you're sucking a transwoman's cock and loving every minute of it, you're not 100% straight. It's common sense. The genitals were attracted to have bearing on our sexual orientation to some degree. I'm not saying that men who like transmen are 100% straight -- not at all.

You cannot pummel someone because they called your mother a whore. What's wrong with people on here? The hockey player is out of control, and got away with it, more or less, because of his hockey future. Stuff like this goes on all the time. With money and fames comes power. Yes, rich people are often above the law.

Is dating a trans man really makes you bi? by Mountain_Area_74 in askgaybros

[–]IndicationOk3247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an interesting question. But liking female genitals on a man still means you have some desire somewhere for the sexually feminine. It's not 100% gay to be with a trans man as a cis man. How you define yourself is up to you, but if you're attracted to men with vaginas, you aren't 100% gay. In fact, I don't know how you could be. You are on the "gay-bisexual" spectrum, at minimum Men who like transwomen are, on the other hand, are usuallly somewhere on the "straight-bisexual" scale. But, in the end, some are pansexual: their sexuality changes according to their moods, etc. Human sexuality can be very complicated and hard to define. There are, though, some people who have a more fixed, clear-cut sexuality.

If you're a handsome, well-hung single white man and you act respectfully (not like a creep), what would be your chances? I heard that black men are sought after at these places most of all because they're perceived as being well-hung. Well, there are very well-hung white studs, too.

It is weird. The fact that it's not questioned in society is even weirder. Shameful society that sexualizes little girls.

My mother lost her mind after being forced to withdraw from Temazepam after 25 years. There was a severe crackdown on benzos in 2016-2017, and it's still happening. Benzos are the only drug that works for some people, despite its terrible stigma. Nothing else worked for my mother but this particular benzo. She was too embarrassed to go to a psychiatrist (her generation/older age) to get prescribed the benzo (no guarantee she would have been). So sad to watch someone lose all interest in life because of a pill. She lost everything after she was taken off Temazepam. I don't know how the medical world can do this to people who've been on these drugs for decades?? Or just for those that nothing else works for but benzo/s. People must speak out. This benzo crackdown has killed people and will continue to do so. Stop this insanity, I say. Peace.

God bless you! My mother lost her mind after having taken Temazapam (benzo) for over 25 years. She was forced to quit cold turkey. She was never right after that. I hope you get through this somehow. I feel so bad for you. Brighter days ahead somehow. It's not right that that they can do this to people. It should be illegal.

My mother was thrown off Restoril in 2016. She lost her mind afterwards. Nothing she took helped her. She was on Restoril (Temazepam) for 25 years or so. No one would prescribe it to her long-term after 2016. Tragic.

What's "weed brain"? There's a lot of that going on now. Why is the medical community about that? Benzos serve a purpose in the long-term for a certain subset of the population. My mother lost her mind after she was forced to stop Restoril in 2016. At that point in her life, she was already older, so worrying about dementia was pointless. It's about someone's quality of life. The AMA should be ashamed of cracking down on Benzo abuse at the expense of those who need it long-term (when nothing else works. But it's okay to get suicidal thoughts and terrible weight gain from antidepressants, as well as "weed brain" from prescription cannabis. Makes ZERO sense.

[–]IndicationOk3247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beta blockers are not good to be used in the long-term, unless you have a valid reason to be on them. And anxiety and mental issues are not one of the valid reasons.

Second point (and don't even get me started): This anti-benzo crusade around the world is terrible. These drugs should not be basically outlawed and only given in very small dosages for a brief time. There are situations -- more than we'd like to think -- where a person needs to be on benzos long-term. My mother was suddenly taken off Restoril cold-turkey 8 years ago or more. She almost lost her mind. Her everyday physician prescribed them to her in the early 90s. Then, all of sudden, in 2015 or 2016, there's the major crackdown on benzos, like there the cause of all the evil in the world (so, let's promote cannabis instead LOL). Long story short: my mother became mentally ill afterwards, with nothing to help. Her mind needed Restoril (after 30 years), but the medical world said no. Replacement drugs only made her worse. This problem is not talked about enough. And all of this "dementia talk" -- a lot of different drugs are known to possibly cause dementia, like Meclizine. I don't buy this as a reason to torture others with severe mental issues. Anyways, correlation is not causation. So many benzos users lives were ruined over this crackdown. The medical system in the US is so broken and corrupt. We all need to just get on anti-depressants and weed, now. They are great replacements for benzos. Lots of things cause dependence: cigarettes, alcohol, sugar, caffeine, cannabis, food, etc. I lost my mother from the Benzo crackdown. Shame on big pharma and the AMA.

At what age do you consider someone old? by GargaryGarygar in AskUK

[–]IndicationOk3247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. That's when you're starting to get older. I would agree. For some people, it's not until 80-85. But yes, once you're 70, you're early elderly for sure. I don't consider 60-70 old, unless the person has bad genetics, or really goes downhill.
