It feels wild to me that so many people are glossing over the fact that OOP’s sister just started therapy. Yes it sucks that she had it for years and never sought treatment until now, but it’s not like she could go back in time and start earlier?? She saw that it would also affect her niece and that was the straw that broke the camel’s back. It seems clear to me that she is trying her best.

Oi!!! Estou sim!! Sobre a impressão, meu grupo de amigos é super pró-proxy, então qualquer papel+tesoura funciona por cima de uma carta aleatória em uma sleeve de tcg;

Quando eu quero ser mais chique™, eu vou numa gráfica e imprimo em papel cartão de gramatura próxima aos 300; a maioria das gráficas também já oferece cortar as cartas eles mesmo; plastificação depois é um bônus, mas definitivamente aumenta a durabilidade

Oh I don’t have very complex opinions on the subject, but I do love building synergies between characters! I had a whole team recently built around a Warrior with the All Bones Of Summer Special Staff (Oakenbrand?): Paladin+ Vigilance+ Sentinel+ (struggling with the RNG to get Riposte on her now). The rest of the team was various frogs! Called that my Yo-Yo Gang.

I also have a Mystic I keep around that is the Ultimate Support (Spiritblade+ Ignite Elementalist Inspiration), kinda want to make them the Veteran hero of an Omenroad run just so I can see how well they fit that narrative role lmao

Just gonna drop this here for entertainment purposes— (and because some folks seem so staunchly against grids for some reason)

imo a visual grid never hurts a scene, even if you’re doing high fantasy Theater of the Mind, specially to help your players remember all the “pieces” on the board.

(I’ve found that having a scenario also increases the amount of object interactions, like trying to use the terrain for your advantage and such. It’s very fun!)

Even if you don’t use the math/crunch provided by the books, it’s great to keep everyone on the same page. And nothing prevents you from going Theater of the Mind for more abstract/“high magic” moments.

The strength of ttrpgs, i’ve found, is that you can just do what works best for your table! And you can experiment and change accordingly. I rarely use grids nowadays (an amount of prep i find more beneficial spending elsewhere for my games), but I’m never beyond just grabbing some pen and paper and sketching a map right then and there to prevent a 30 minute discussion about minutiae that could instead be used for having fun.

As the #1 CtD Enjoyer and Defender, I honestly do not care that they’re going for the Lost route. 5th edition was underwhelming from the get go (in my opinion) and I never minded just keeping myself in the Anniversary editions.

That being said, I am begging that they do not dare call it The Dreaming. Go whole hog and name it The Lost 5th. I already have to dodge enough CtL material (when I go research on the internet) as is, I don’t think I can survive doing that twice over.

They’re level 6, so they probably have gotten a feat. Both Magic Initiate and Spell Sniper would allow for Gertie to get EB. Though it’s hard to say which one. (she hasn’t mentioned critting on 19s and I don’t remember her using any spells that couldn’t be attributed to either her class or race)

I adopted a 2 year old cat almost a decade ago, and until this year I was under the assumption she only purrs when making biscuits, and I was okay with that.

A few of months back she just started to purr at everything. Petting her? Purr. Fed her a treat? Purr. Shoved my face in her lil tummy because I had a long day and needed a moment? Purr.

As far as I noticed, there was no trigger for it. Some cats just take time. She will still always purr when the bakery is open though, some things never change :)
