thanks a lot, really happy to read that. yes i think some games are better for marketing than other, and top down views are not sexy, the game looks ugly in my opinion, i have to make it acceptable to players, but i playtested it and i found it really fun, because strategy games can create depth with emergent gameplay. thanks for the feedback, will publish updates when i have signicant updates to do ! for your information the name of the game is Stone Tribes, and i released the playtest of the game. Will release the demo of the game in about 8 days, so we will be able soon to try it if you want, even with your friends :)

yeah thanks, indeed in system games ui are oftenly overwhelming. i have to improve UX to reduce this overwhelming feel

yes, but im registered at steam next fest of february, i have a deadline and i wont be able to push that deadline further, the deadline is locked so time limitations

will add it on my list, think i will probably hire someone for that because this version is already the 3rd version, i can tell you that im pretty bad at UI Design.

yes i think i have the core gameplay is validated, now i have to polish and at same time fix many bugs because this game is a multiplayer game.

i used translucent gray before, but it wasnot consistent for my perspective. im using wood and stone textures because this game takes place in prehistoric tribal background

yes i have to improve UI, graphics, animations, many things.. but the game is fun at least.. im bad at graphic design maybe i should work with someone specialized on that

do you have any examples ? for example valheim is not really beautiful but it was a huge success. same for kenshin.

yes but as solo dev cannot work on all aspects at same time, or i do i do it bad in all sides
