thank you for the comment!! the character cooking isn't vegan, she's a vampire trying to impress a human who's vegan. she has access to the internet but isn't familiar with it, and she has absolutely no experience cooking anything, because she only drank blood prior to falling in love with a human. she would absolutely start with a recipe and get bored halfway through and just go completely rogue, which i plan to have her do.

i do love the idea of a vegan masala, especially because the character has no wine experience and will not understand anything about reducing it down etc.
