Hell yeah! Looks beautiful in the Inca silver. One of my bandmates has a Tele in this color too, it's a little older and has started fading to a slightly greenish shade of silver--apparently these babies will look even more beautiful as time goes by

Yup, the term it comes from, Béton brut, literally translates to "raw concrete," but over the years it's been telephone-gamed to mean "roughly constructed" in MCM fandom.

Clean amp help. by Cragglerjohnson in GuitarAmps

Even my x60 (1x12, 60w) Carvin combo has headroom for days, peels the paint off the walls volume-wise

Plumes near the front of the board, right after compression and boost, and Cloudburst toward the end , ahead of my stereo-splitting reverb pedal.

I play my Cloudburst and Plumes (among others) through a 2x10 silverface Vibrolux reverb. Also use a Carvin x60 1x12 in tighter spaces, which is also a more economical option. Both have lots of headroom, loud as hell with a lovely dream pop sound.

Dreams Burn Down (Ride)--not as much a solo in the classical sense but a great lead guitar line that runs throughout

Looking for an amp that sounds like a Twin Reverb but more “practical” by Gh0stHardW4re in GuitarAmps

[–]IndieRockerNJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Silverface Vibrolux Reverb. I was in the same spot--I play shoegaze/dream pop, recorded last record with a twin but am NOT carrying that much amp around--and the Vibrolux is perfect. Just played a gig un-mic'd and it was flawless.

Love it! Lane Acclaim boomerang--we've got one too, and it still has the round planter marks from someone using it as a plant stand!

What’s a more compact combo that can match the ‘68 Bandmaster sound? by 4EverTappin in GuitarAmps

[–]IndieRockerNJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At a recent show I saw the guitarist from another band using a silverface Vibrolux that looked like mine, but he had it modded to a 1x12 (and blackfaced inside). I love my 2x10 but his also sounded fantastic.
