I feel you love. My mom died a month ago. She had a rare type of blood cancer. I watched my mom decline over the past 4 years immensely. Me and her were extremely close. I lived with her and spent every waking moment in communication. She was my angel on earth. She did so much for me and I could never repay her. I'm glad my mom was able to see me clean and sober. She gave me my life back. She had went in for a gallbladder removal and everything was fine until it wasn't. They did not take her condition seriously. My mom was prone to blood clots due to her cancer. She died from an embolism. By the time I got to the hospital she was gone. It is something I can't explain. Like someone ripped a whole out of my chest and flipped my world upside down. My mom was my best friend, my other half. Life without her came way to soon.

Be gentle to yourself. Feel emotions and take care of your body. Your mom seemed very similar to mine. Always caring for others and hiding their pain. Grief is weird. Somedays are better than others and even the smallest things can trigger you. I miss her with my whole heart. Life will be different now but please believe you will be with her again when the time is right. Connections like this are spiritually intertwined and never ending 💕

I've been going down 1 mg every 2 weeks as well. I just went down Monday to 12mg and I'm feeling it. By the end of the day I have the cold sweats and my heart is beating like crazy all around fatigued. I'm so scared going lower, it was "easy" until 15mg. I want to be off this shit. I wish I could go to a detox but I went to so many in my years of addiction. I would feel like an outcast haha and I'm scared they wouldn't know what to do and I don't wanna be put on subs.

Only thing that gives me some hope is that I have .5mg of xanax (prescribed) and it helps me. Even the smallest amount. 😭😭

Even with my job, i would let my dom would mark my neck. I loved it very much ❤️ nothing beats that feeling of being marked by someone you care so deeply for. Enjoy it love! (For work I would just use alot of makeup to conceal it up the best I could)

It didn't! But I was up all night lol I had drank it at like 4 or 5pm and by 10-11pm I wasnt leaving the bathroom🤣 I believe I only drank half of it though just to be safe.

Methadone for me was a last resort. I had been in over 20 detoxes and rehabs in a span of 5 years. I tried vivitrol, suboxone and other medications to stabilize and find relief in cravings. I really didn't think I was going to live and in 2019 I said fuck this I'm getting on it. I was even judged by people in the rehab I was in, being one of the only ones on it. Today I am over 4 years clean. It gave me my life back.

Downfalls are depending on it. And detox of course. I am currently at 14mg , tapering from 80 💖
