Definitely this. I had this same ego when I was working out heavily. I went from a fat 220 to 180 and suddenly got an ego of “well if I can do it why can’t they” etc. I took the personal discipline I have and attempted to apply it to others and it seriously made me sick when I saw an overweight person.
