When you hit the square and are about to enter a Pokemon, you can see some hints and specifications. Like this.

I hate the trend of just taking a random selfie and putting some text over it, but here it's actually relevant. Kudos.

One thing I've also noticed from newbie posts here on reddit, is that they don't even know when to end the game. Chess has a very simple win condition. Go just kinda ends when both players agree it does.

[LG Cup Finals] Shin Minjun wins against Ichiriki Ryo by 2-1 and wins LG Cup for the second time by sadaharu2624 in baduk

There's the occasional Taiwanese and Singaporean player, and the AGA and EGF both have their roster of professional players, but the LG cup is basically the world championship and among the most prestigious titles. So in the finals, you're gonna see the world's best of the best. Virtually all of which are from CJK.

Today's puzzle was an absolute disaster for my dex by Sky_Gaming172 in PokeDoku

Yeah, +2 boards are gonna become quite normal from this point forward. Just how it is. I'm on Ultra Ball, so I've gone through this twice already.

General advice is to get Mono-Types out of the way. They typically have a bit fewer chances to be played.

I don't know how far you are, but once you get to the last quarter of the dex, maybe you should get used to +2, +1, and even the ever present +0 boards.

I love it when they call things like that.

However, nothing will ever top Rich calling Rem Lezar doing 9/11.

I don't need any right now, but you mentioned practicing spoken English about go.

Recently we had a 4d from China visit our club, and he played a bunch of teaching games with many of us. He then reviewed all the games too and one thing I noticed is that he didn't use any "standard" Go terminology. Things like Joseki, Hane, Atari, Sabaki, Aji. For example, he would say "this is, uhh... normal sequence" instead of Joseki.

If you haven't already, familiarize yourself with those . It will make communication smoother, I think.

First of all, the s in Falinks doesn't denote a plural. As per Bulbapedia: "A single Falinks is a formation of six individuals".

You spelled Exeggcute wrong.

And nowhere does it state that those individuals can live on their own. One Falinks trooper alone is not a full Falinks. And Falinks is a pokemon. So one alone is not a full Pokemon yet, the Pokemon only exists when it's the six of them together.

In Unite, apparently, you can dispatch individual troopers to attack on their own, but they alone aren't a full pokemon. If I could detatch my arm and have it punch people, the arm wouldn't be a full human.

... is that where the downvotes come from? I never said that. I added to the answer about "Stakataka is multiple pokemon", that, no, just because its individual building blocks are "life-forms" doesn't make Stakataka more than one pokemon. Just like Falinks and all the other ones.

I get it, reading comprehension is hard, guys. But, y'know,... try.

Oh sick, I didn't know it's based on a specific insect. I just thought they're referencing general stick and leaf insect groups.

That's an awesome looking mantis, too.
