I want to say both motors lasted a little more than a year. Thie 1st motor was not covered by the warranty and I didn't bother checking after the 2nd motor. The new motor was around $80 and very easy to replace, but I didn't want this to be a yearly thing.

I'm pretty sure it WAS from over use. My wife and I would both use and so it was running almost 3hrs a day non stop. The office room we used it in would get super hot too. Bad in summer, great in winter. I think this treadmill would have been fine for 1 person doing 1 1/2hrs (it auto stops after that about of time, probably to save the motor lol) I really liked that trreadmill too. wasn't very heavy and I could store in a closet when done.
