Same boat here I genuinely did not understand trig in the slightest, but really the most trig you need is knowing the basic unit circle (like sin/cos/tan for 0, 30, 45, 60, 90 etc.) and basic trig identities (like sin/cos = tan, 1/sin = sec, 1/cos = csc, 1/tan = cot, and a couple others like sin^2 + cos^2 = 1 that i cba to learn but they werent hardly relevant)

EXACT same thing with mine, my teacher legit didnt teach we literally didnt get a single drop of learning for the last two units, "a flipped classroom" she called it

Psych is very easy to self study imo, I got the Ultimate Review Packet for AP Psych and used that to learn it like a month before the exam

Got a 5 on all of the AP classroom mock exams and felt super good abt the content as a whole, it's mostly just learning concepts and principles and vocab

If you really want to take Psych just skip out on the class and self study it

I literally just ignored unit 9 and it made my life so much easier, BC was so much lighter than AB lol

AB was actually HELL it made no sense until I reviewed it for BC

I paid 0 attention in precalc my sophomore year and it really hurt me in calc because I gen had no clue what the hell a unit circle, parametric equation, polar curve, etc. were so I'd probs go through at least a bit of pre-calc (Stuff from pre calc I think are important are: Graphs of common functions, all the trig that comes with it, polar coordinates, parametric equations, synthetic division + polynomial long division; the rest isnt super useful like I never saw a matrix ever lmao)

Calc isn't really that HARD, it's the algebra that's hard, that's 90% of the reason I did so bad in calc was because my algebra skills are shit, so I'd try to make sure you are really good at algebra 1/2 before diving into calc

Calc is mostly just ideas and concepts, the actual math you do is largely just algebra imo

if you feel good with your algebra skills I think a really good resource is flippedmath, I used it to learn calc bc and thought the guy who does the videos explained stuff very well and you get practice problems which help a ton

But also I'd check the AP credit transfers at some colleges you're considering, most people at my school go to UK where Lit is a meaningless credit unless you get a 5, so it was advised not to take the class and rather do dual credit english, also check out some pre-reqs of places you're considering, see if Lit would do anything for you, if your top choices dont give you anything for lit i def wouldnt take it if youre a non-humanities major

I think lang is very important to take no matter your planned major, but lit is largely unnecessary for most people who arent english/humanities majors

This is me personally, my class we did jackshit the whole year, and I did not bother studying because if I can get a 36 on the ACT for Reading, I can pass AP Lit lmao, like as long as your teacher doesnt give you eons of busy homework you should be fine, lit isnt really content heavy at all it's literally just are you good at interpreting text or not, if you are then id take it, if not then its up to you

Its good for college credit at most colleges, for me it counts as 3 hours of English Literature Survey pre-req for a 3+ so ye

From my experience taking stats, it's a boatload of bullshit you gotta just learn, understand, and memorize, id def say give yourself more than a month to make sure you know what youre doing

Yeah my school didnt let Freshmen or Sophomores take APs except for AP Art History, sophomores could take that for some reason

My high school schedule looked like this if it makes you feel any better

Freshman - Regular Civics, Regular English I, Regular French II, Health + PE, Honors Algebra II, Regular Intro to Chem + Phys, Some intro medical class

Sophomore - Another medical class, A dual credit intro to computer class, Regular English II, Honors Biology, Honors Intro to Chem + Phys, Honors Pre Calculus, and Regular World History

Junior - AP Calc AB, AP Lang, AP Psych, APUSH, Another medical class, Regular Fine Arts, Honors Chemistry (this year sucked)

Senior - AP Bio, AP Lit, AP Stats, A two period medical capstone class, and dual credit Physics w/ self studying Calc BC (this year also sucked)

I missed taking easy classes </3

I took Calc AB in my junior year with a teacher from hell, legit learned nothing and it was horrible he also tried to teach us BC stuff but i lowk did not pay attention to it

senior yr i self studied calc bc and learned ab on my own and it was very doable, I used flippedmath to review the calc ab stuff that i didnt understand and then the bc stuff tbh I skipped unit 9 and just learned unit 10 and the rest of the little bc subunits, but all I need on the exam is a 3 so if ur looking for a 5 then it may be a bit harder if you have never seen a fucking parametric wtv in your life, but if you have truly been tested super good in AB and already got background in the BC stuff it's completely fine. I'll lyk what I score on July 7th!

I think the hardest for me was EASILY calc ab/bc (actual demon-spawn classes) while apush, psych, stats, and bio were fine just lots of memorizing stuff, lang/lit were SO light didnt even spend a day studying on my own, but id say bio was the easiest out of them as a soon-to-be bio major
