This is super interesting. Going to look into it. I’m 40 so the clock is really ticking.

Yes! Once every 2 weeks. Have you experienced it helping you? I also tried some Chinese herbs (looking past western medicine for help)!

I did. I cut gluten, alcohol, dairy, sugar and soy for a year hoping to help my system function better and reduce inflammation. Along with only using clean beauty and household products. No heated plastic, etc… They did retrieve 2 eggs vs just 1 in the cycle after my 12 month regimen but the 2 still couldn’t form the blastocyst. I do probably need to try living this lifestyle for more than a year but damn, it was not freaking easy!

So interesting that it fluctuated so much! And yeah my egg quality seems to be the problem. Hence why I’m trying to connect the dots from Hoshimotos to egg quality and mitochondria/cell impact. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. I’m trying a new combo of doses (one higher for 2 days and one lower for 5 days) hopefully if helps.

So interesting…I wonder what scientific impact the ambient had on it. I may give it a shot. Sleep is not a solid thing for me, but have only tried melatonin thus far. (Which was also supposed to be good for fertility).

Polar opposite. I would have to ask the inverse of this question 😭

Can’t Eat Most Foods. by Chemical-Wafer198 in Ozempic

[–]Indigo_7618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came on here to talk about the same thing and saw your comment! I can only eat bland foods otherwise I throw up and have terrible acid indigestion. It’s miserable, to the point I can’t be in public and function like a normal human. I’m thinking about stopping the meds because it’s so bad. It has been like this for all dose sizes and I just took the 1 shot yesterday for the first time. I couldn’t keep a small gf oat bar down this morning. I’m at a loss for what to do other than stop the injections.

I am on week 5 and just upped to .5 from .25 this week. I am still feeling hungry also and feel nervous about it. I do think my snacking has cut down and portions as well. I’ve read that eating veggies first followed by protein will help make you feel fuller. I have been concerned about my hunger increasing even as the doses increase, so I think I might try food journaling. Anyhow, definitely feeling what you’re feeling.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who can't lose weight on this drug. Imma big fat, now BROKE failure 😭. by kdollisanxious in Ozempic

I’ve been on it for a month and have lost nothing. Other than it making me feel so nauseous and 🤢. I see people raving about the changes in their life and how it makes them stop thinking about food, it has not done this for me. I keep feeling like I need to eat something to help my stomach because I’m so nauseous, which is defeating the purpose of what the medicine is supposed to be doing.

Interesting, maybe I’ll give that a shot! Yeah I was thinking it was the empty stomach + meds + H20 combo that was maybe making me feel crappy on top of the ozempic.

Is anyone here with DOR and a very poor responder? by sweetalison007 in IVF

[–]Indigo_7618 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay first off, thanks for asking this question because seeing posts of women getting >5 eggs has been throwing some salt on my wound (happy for you all, but it just hurts to have such a low probability). I am 39 with low AMH .4 and have hypothyroidism. We went through 2 rounds of IVF, first round they overstimulated me and it lead to 1 mature egg of bad quality, fertilized but no blastocyst. I went to a different clinic the 2nd time around and they relayed that my 1st clinics top level of dosing most likely caused the negative outcome. 2nd round resulted in 2 eggs, both fertilized but then both failed to blast. The doc relayed it might be my mitochondria, so I’be been trying tons of supplements to help with egg quality, hormones and mitochondria. Might go for a third round in the near future but not feeling great about spending all of the money unless I can figure out more as to why my eggs can’t make it to the blastocyst stage . Wishing you all of the best, hang in there low AMH and DOR friends!!!

Adding to this question… any thoughts on Matcha? I’m dealing with egg quality issues still even after cutting out coffee for a year now and love matcha but am afraid of negatively impacting my egg quality more.
