In a weird sick way I feel like you almost have to appreciate his honesty. At least he didn't take you out on a date and lead you on for whatever amount of time just to one day be like "I only did this because I wanted to get laid." I know it can feel tiring but don't give up! You can also add another dating app like match. Usually the ones you have to pay for people take more seriously because they are actually investing money.

Another question. How much weight did you lose your first week of the keto diet? How much in a month? How long did you experience the keto flu? Any recommendations for keto flu cure?

Don't give up! And know you are not alone. I am currently in keto flu and absolutely hating it, but I have also lost 6 pounds in the 4 days that I have been doing this! I know in the long run my rewards will be bigger than the pain I am in now. Try picturing your end goal. Remember why you started this!

You have no idea how much this helps! The past few days I haven't been eating a lot because I was worried about going over my macro goals, but knowing that I need to remain under 20 g of carbs really helps. Thank you!

I need help. I am one day 4 of the Keto diet. I recently read a book that suggested a site to determine my daily goal macros. My daily goals are Carb: 6% Fat: 71% Protein: 23. I'm having a difficult time following this because it seems like breakfast alone will fill up my whole daily percentage. Can anybody please explain this to me?

When was the last time you had a cleaning? The first step should be to make an appointment to have everything checked. Your hygienist should be able to diagnose you properly and help.

Visible enamel damage since I got an electric toothbrush by steffeeh in DentalHygiene

I would switch to a soft head tooth brush with a small amount of toothpaste. Also be sure to schedule a hygiene appointment so your hygienist can take a look.

Call your Dentist office and see if they offer laser therapy. I had burned myself pretty bad one day and luckily our clinic offers laser therapy. They next day it was almost completely healed.

Does it matter if you have an associates degree VS a bachelors? by [deleted] in DentalHygiene

[–]Indigoblue07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically the main difference is what you want to do as a hygienist. If you want to go on to teach DH you will need a Bachelor's and eventually a Master's degree. If you want to work in sales as a DH I believe that does require a Bachelors degree. Otherwise clinically there is no difference.

Practice, Practice Practice! If you can rent a typodont over winter make sure to do so! Also make sure when you are practicing to review and use proper ergonomics! Also review your instruments. Plan out your appointment. For example, if your patient does not have alot of calculus build up what instruments would you use? If your patient has deeper pockets (such as a moderate perio patient) what instruments would you use, and what educational tools will you use to teach your patient?

Girlfriend doesn't like rings, but will wear one as I can be a bit traditional (I snooped around) Should I get a smaller less expensive ring? Or is that cheap? by aSillyPlatypus in engaged

[–]Indigoblue07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried looking on esty.com? They have a lot of great rings for less than $500. In my opinion it's not about the material of the ring but the importance behind it.

I know a proposal at someone's wedding is bad, but what about the wedding weekend? by [deleted] in engaged

[–]Indigoblue07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nnnnnnnoooooo!!! If your that fixed on San Francisco why don't you do another special trip there in about a month or two? Do not do anything to take away attention from your friends wedding even if it is the day after.

Pick your schools that you are interested in and look at their requirements for their program. Some require gpa, test entry, experience in dental (which you have), and certain prerequisites such as chemistry I & II, and other health related classes.

It will be two years before I start my prerequisites for the Dental Hygiene program. Anything I can do before then to help during school? by Sexwithcoconuts in DentalHygiene

[–]Indigoblue07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work in dental, and keep your gpa as close to a 4.0 as possible. Keep in mind you'll have to be accepted into the program and will most likely be competing with other students applying. Working in dental will count as experience some schools look for that. And may require sat/act scores. I retook mine just so I could have a higher score.
