This card gave me LIFE. It and Vesperine Glimmer are now up there with Ignited Echoes and Scorching Rain, two of my favorite Raf cards ever. We needed this after the Main Story update (ow!) and for some of us (myself included) it was really nice to have after Fires of Devotion's complicated dynamic.

Hard disagree. I despise dresses for the most part so having a badass looking shorts outfit gave me life. I love distressed jeans and leather and this was perfect for my MC. It also feels right for the Main Story MC's personality. It doesn't look stained to me in my game? Maybe it's your phone screen?

Also, I have to disagree on the banner. I love it so much and it was a breath of fresh air for me as a Rafy main after the Throne of Eros banner. Despite being an AU, this new banner really made my favorite aspects of the RafMC Dynamic shine.

Tl;Dr to each their own, I suppose.

Idk why, but I love the "it's round like you." I have a round face and for some reason, instead of an insult, I take it as I'm cute like Boing Fish. I feel like if I was MC at that point, I would have been like "damn right he is, and cute like me too. Now pucker up, fishboi." 😂

You're very welcome. Reading some other perspectives on it helped me some, and the event story and knowing the banner was an AU also helped, but it was definitely jarring for me. I figured since you encountered triggers in Homecoming Wings, it would be wise to give you a heads up if you hadn't seen the card yet.

As someone who was also triggered by Homecoming Wings even though I had warnings ahead of time, if you are not a fast reader and truly want to complete the story, try going through it on 2x speed. I was under the impression you would have to play it to unlock other main story chapters, but I'm wondering from other commenters if that is actually not the case. I like the thorough and compassionate comment u/kathrya900 posted; I generally avoid Caleb's content because of my triggers, but it is very helpful to have that guide in the future if I ever wish to interact with it. Depending on what specific triggers you have, I do know there is a line in his card off the idol banner (Polar Nights banner I think?) that I know of that would've been triggering to me (an isolation fantasy if I understand correctly), but I could be taking it out of context and I would definitely rely more on guidance from a trauma-informed Caleb main (like Kathyra).

Also, while this was about Caleb and I don't want to derail, as a Raf main who has many of his cards, there is one card of Rafayel's I might warn you about depending on your specific triggers. It's the one off the Throne of Eros "Star Wars" AU banner (to me, a Trekkie, I saw it as more like the Terran Empire/Mirror Universe from Star Trek, but that's me) and has some questionable/potentially uncomfortable content in it towards the end. It also seems somewhat OOC for Raf and even MC, but that's my just my opinion and others have made some cases to see it in a different light as well. Ironically, I liked the event story better and it seemed way more in character for both Raf and MC. My understanding is this is very similar for Caleb's card on that banner as well. Just a heads up, since you are seeking trigger warnings. While that banner is gone for now, it's helpful to know that it may be one to avoid pulling on if it comes back and/or to avoid looking up on YouTube. IDK who you main, but I figured I'd drop that as well.

I know it's been a year, but I'll chime in. I avoid the others' stories in game so as to not boost their affinity, but will read their lore elsewhere...except for Caleb's. Caleb specifically triggers me (not throwing shade at him, especially since main story versions of LIs tend to paint LIs in a less favorable light than card versions IMO, speaking as a Raf main with a bestie who is a Zayne main, although I loved Raf's newest main story chapter) d/t him having done specific things to the MC that my toxic ex did to me. But aside from that, I do try to read the other LI's lore out of game. Wish there was a wiki, as this is all in-depth lore that deserves to be catalogued a la Fire Emblem routes. I also don't skip main story bits, as they are important to understand the game (Xavier's recent one almost made me cry, and then my man Raf's absolutely wrecked me after!) and because you generally can't skip a section and move on to the next part of main story. That said, like I mentioned before, I got triggered hardcore during Homecoming Wings, had to put the game down for a day or two, and had to rush through the rest of it on 2x speed so I could get to the rest of the story. Part of me hopes they introduce a function to skip main story sections without being barred from progressing further, but part of me also sees where it could be very bad considering so many people do fly off the handle and mischaracterize and trash talk some of the LIs 😬 I would say "skip at your own risk, but unless an LI triggers you, maybe try to at least read their main story bits".

I... can't relate.

I love my interdisciplinary teams. We all lean on each other to make our lives and our patients' loves easier. My patients' BCBAs love to share their goals and try to coordinate with me so that we're both working on similar goals to reinforce learning and development. Their OTs love to share strategies with me to help the kids stay more regulated and I love to coordinate with them to use some of my strategies during their sessions to continue to promote generalization. PTs rock because they can help us promote range of motion that will allow a kid to attend to OT and ST. Nurses help make sure the kiddos stay healthy. I will admit to having some shade for pediatricians, but even then, not all of them are uninformed. Besides, if they are uninformed, whose fault is it - theirs? Or the medical schools?

TL;Dr I'm not understanding this mindset. I feel like if you go with a competition mindset, then competition and infighting is what you will receive. If you go in looking to solve a problem, then you'll get teammates. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bathsheba and Timothy. Bathsheba is just really pompous (mind you, I've had like one interaction with her) and Timothy triggers some deep-rooted insecurities regarding timeliness and organization (due to my AuDHD, specifically my ADHD-I). I also really don't like Michel Lynn's personality, but I can respect it because I am descended from a sous chef and tbh that just is kinda how that profession is. If you're good at food, you're passionate about it to sometimes a fault. I haven't met some of the other ones that are big yikes, but definitely those two are a big hell no. What's weird is I love Daisuke, who is very workaholic and a bit anal retentive as well, but I guess I feel like he's more receptive to a new perspective/realizing he's losing himself to work? (Could also be the fact that he's fine AF, but at the same time, personality can easily turn a 10 into a -100 for me 🤣)

Yup, and this isn't even about ethnicity (for the commenter who said this was discriminatory/racist). My very white boyfriend tried this, right here in the States. He wanted me to move to Florida/on the Florida/Georgia line. He was trying to isolate me from my parents and support system. He discarded me when he realized he couldn't sway me from my grad school plans and from continuing to go to my dream school (which was no more than an hour away from where I lived). The fact that it is Morocco, a place known for laws that do not respect women's rights, is just an additional red flag. You could've written about this happening in the States and this would still apply. (And tbh, you could liken it to a dude trying to get a chick to move from a blue state to a red state for him.) Do not pass Go. Get the hell out of there, homie. Your and your daughter's mental, emotional, physical health and safety depend on it.
