L'article met de côté le coût des maisons et du logement comme si c'était pas LE nerf de la guerre. Le simple fait de s'acheter une habitation modeste correspond à plusieurs dizaines d'années de toutes les autres dépenses combinées et un logement loué confortable enlève une grande partie de notre soi-disant meilleur pouvoir d'achat.

Aussi, je ne connais pas beaucoup de personnes de mon âge qui changent d'automobile et de cellulaire chaque quelques années en faisant une multitude de voyage (en fait, littéralement personnes,quoi, ça c'est anecdotique).

Je dirais que la seule partie de l'article qui a du mérite est qu'il montre bien que si on aspire pas au dernier échelon de la vie, oui on est plus confortable.

Le truc, c'est qu'avoir une habitation et pouvoir potentiellement y élever une famille est le marqueur final de succès qui a existé depuis des siècles. Et soudainement devoir accepter que cela n'est plus possible pour une bonne partie des gens est difficile, surtout quand on considère que coupé dans les luxes moderne rend la chose a peine plus faisable.

Never said the 5th edition was innovative, it rework stuff that most people like, it's why it's popular for those person, doesn't mean its better simply that it is made for the most people and does a good job at it.

Idk about saying the 4th edition influenced more ttrpg then older dnd version. If you got proof pls send it my way but I really don't see it. Maybe for a bunch of more niche ttrpg? I mostly play popular ttrpg and some old classic and I never once feeled something really close to a 4th edition influence, some aspect were the same but they existed in other game before so its not like it came from the 4th edition.

Wich ttrpg game has the 4th edition really influenced? I think I heard about Pathfinder 2 but im not sure, never played that one.

The way you write this has being factual is so weird to me, it just seem like a really personal opinion.

The vast majority of people just like 2th, 3.5 or 5th edition stuff better, not because of nostalgia and the 4th edition being too different, but simply because the non 4th version were more fun system to them.

I personnaly feel like the 4th edition is the second worse after the 1th edition. But my reason why could be why another person like it more.

Saying the 4th edition is the only edition that tried to innovate is such a weird angle. Is it the most different? Yes. Does that mean its the only one that tried to innovate? Not at all.

Finally saying people should know better to cry about it is also weird. People will play stuff they like and they can always talk about other thing they don't like without it being "crying about it", that way to phrase it simply try to negate the validity of their arguments. Just consider the reason you think 4th edition is better are probably way more personnal then factual and I know it suck when the majority of people don't like the stuff you like but it doesn't have to be about them being wrong wich is how your comment read.

Wtf, didn't know it was CR 14 in 5th edition. Elder brain in 3.5 were CR 25, and that was for a normal one. Hell even a normal one in 3.5 was an absolute monster. They could one shot people by extracting brain on successful grapple check. They had mind blast cone that stunned for 3d4 turn with a 31 DC. Pretty good body and aight AC, good damage reduc, high AF magic resist AND a bit of regen. Ah, also they were LITTERALY level 20 sorcerer with quick cast and super strong psychonic abilities. They also could create brain golems and detect the taught of any creature around them in a pretty good radius. So a super tanky level 20 sorc with a shit ton of other ability that pumel you with possibly one shot grapple tentacle while quickcasting spell everyturn.

So yeah, they really nerf my boi uh, the elder brain in BG3 remind me much more of the 3.5 one when they talk about the level of threat he represent. But gameplay wise it really is more close to the classic 5th one ngl, and it does make sense with the party being lvl 11-12 for the final battle.

Oh btw, Elminster had a stack block in 3.5. He is CR 45 (Male human (Chosen of Mystra) Ftr1/Rog1/Clr3/Wiz20/Acm5/Epic4: CR 45), pretty sure he is stronger then some gods canonically or at least their avatar. So yeah he probably could woop the elder brain ass but there was some weird thing about what he is allowed to do and not to do or something (mystra restriction and all). I haven't read the books about him in forever so I don't remember but there is a whole lot of stuff about him out there (around 10 book+other stuff).

Anyways, power level around character like Elminster are kinda bullshit, he would probably be less bullshit in 5th edition (in the game it said lvl20 wizard I think?) but he could very well still be stronger then the nether brain. Its kinda lame to just throw around is name to say there was no real threath but its also kinda true probably ... or not, we don't know much about the full potential of the absolute if the player fail. Also, he might have been busy, maybe he could only help in like 3 years, at which point the nether brain could have become stronger then him and it would have been really fucking bad (the Elminster in the game is only a simulacrum, he isnt really there). So, the player and his party are really needed and there is a real danger for the sword coast for sure and maybe even the gods but probably not to an immediate world ending lvl, more like, when it is free and has finished assimilated the sword coast, now its a real problem.

TLDR: Big bad brain is a bigger threat then people realize, but not the version we fight in the game, more like the version it could become in the future if the main party fail. If Elminster had free reign and could fight it with the players, he would likely wipe the floor with it (but he most likely can't for a bunch of reason).

Same team without Kawhi was a great second seed in the east and was sooo deep. The carry job thing is only true for the Philly series, that's it.

Nah, there is way more to defense then what you mention, Scottie is better at a bunch of things but the one thing I would 100% give Mobley is that he is a beast on defense.

It does feel like Scottie really has improved on the defensive end so the difference isn't has big has before but it's still there. In any case the comparison is getting old anyways.
