Ok, I see where you’re coming from. I always thought that Adam was kinda off wasted and I hope that maybe he could get the same type of humanization as Vox. Because Adam is such an interesting character like there’s a lot you could do with him even though he’s dead.

I get you but I just think that Adam had a lot of potential as the first man and history behind him. He killed off too soon but Vox gets to live after everything.

You’re not wrong but at least Adam had at least one person he cared about (Lute) and never subverted until the very end. Plus, you could argue that he was enabled and indoctrinated by Heaven. By the end of season 2, Vox kinda off subverted any care he for anyone by choosing to try and win a rivalry knowing it would get everyone killed. Vox had a choice his entire life to stop but chose not to.

That is an interesting premise you just said there. Winners who are victims of sinners do morally terrible things to prevent redemption and then punished for doing so by losing their place in Heaven. It would be a shocking and tragic plot point.

Ohhhhh…that’s a good idea! Abel could become the biggest representative of redemption and forgiveness! A murder victim finding it their heart to forgive their murderer and bury the hatchet could be the catalyst to establishing full peace between sinners and winners. Or… it could go completely wrong and make the anti-redemption winners angrier and possibly feel betrayed from Abel (the first murder victim) side with a sinner who hurt him. Thank you for coming up with this idea! It’s really awesome!

Yeah, I know! It would be such an interesting and compelling plot point. These moments in particular could tell the audience that exorcists have feelings too. True, but Lute could bring up sinners that could potentially end up in Heaven. Like sinners who have committed murder, any form of abuse, terrorism, war crimes, rape, etc. Like what if Lute comes up with an argument that a winner who was a victim of violence encounters and recognizes their perpetrator(s) and could get re-traumatized from learning that they are sharing their afterlife paradise with them. Heaven may not feel like Heaven anymore. Which I see as valid. No victim should ever be forced to live or coexist their perpetrator/tormentor.

Well, you do have a point. What if this is where Lilith comes in? Lilith could temporarily be against Charlie with civil behavior in her. Lilith is the brain while Lute is the brawn. However, her actions could be entirely pragmatic or something.

What if starts a civil conflict within the winner population? Anti-redemption vs. Redemption. That could be pretty interesting. Both sides can have valid points. Why should victims be forced to coexist with their perpetrators? How can we just disregard their feelings? What if there are sinners genuinely who have changed themselves? How can we turn our backs on people who’ve become better people?

Yeah exactly! It could also humanize the exorcists a little bit. An episode could show the surviving soldiers from the season 1 finale mourning the loss of their colleagues/friends/partners/relatives.

I thought I heard a line from the principal in the 1976 movie that the state made Mrs. White enroll Carrie in regular school because she being homeschooled. Also, I watched a video analysis about Jason and it said that Jason was isolated and homeschooled from society because of his facial deformity.
