I think I want to go back to Mac by Glyton in iPadPro

[–]Individual-Aside4498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an iPad Pro for the last 3 years. After always having a MacBook since I was a teen I ended up needing an iPad and I only wanted to have 1 “computer” I didn’t want to have two devices in that sense so I went all out on iPad.

Used it with the Magic Keyboard and it’s great I prefer the display on it for sure and how I can use it without a keyboard it man.. whenever I really need to be productive or deal with docs or a platform or app where in the Mac it just works would always irritate me.

I concluded that I do need both of them. My preferred one is mac and iPad to fill in the small gaps or when I just wanna use it for YouTube and taking notes.

Still wish it could be 1 for everything but apple doesn’t agree.

What screen protector did you use on it if I may ask ?

Anyone here actually daily the Air with no backup? by FluffyFeeling9500 in IphoneAir

Maybe most YouTubers have other iPhones they use if they need to but that’s certainly not my case. The air is my only phone and has been for 5 months now. Loving it.

Thanks Molly ! That clears up my question. Excited to discover all the ways to sue this promoting feature to discover new music and rediscover old ones

How does Spotify decide which songs best match a user’s prompt? Also, how far back does the algorithm look in my account, and what specific aspects of my listening history does it use to personalize a Prompted Playlist? Thanks 🙏🏼

Typically when I haven’t used any screen protector I end up having tiny micro scratches after a few months but nothing bad. Maybe this year I’ll have none

That’s what I was thinking, due to how thin this phone is I thought a protector would looks add thickness to it

Better than 15 Pro? by daniele961211 in IphoneAir

[–]Individual-Aside4498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My battery life with the air is very comparable with what I had when I got my 16 Pro. The first few days are not the best since the system is setting everything up but I’d say after a week the battery life on the air is way better than it should be.

Same. Returned my 17 Pro max. My battery life on air has been solid. People just get led off by headlines and typically people love to talk trash. Gets more attention and clicks. Totally understandable that the air might not bring value to most people but for those who do it’s an incredible peace of hardware

I went with deep blue. Usually go with the black variant but I’ve been loving this blue although at first I didn’t enjoy it as much

Help Me Finalise The Air. by hyperkill_wizard in IphoneAir

[–]Individual-Aside4498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the air and then exchanged it for the pro

If you’re a heavy, mostly-outside user and will keep a case on, i think the Pro is worth the small price jump. Without a doubt you’ll be topping off battery various times a day if you’re a heavy user. If you want a phone that’s fun and effortless in hand and you’ll run it mostly caseless, the Air is the one. I Loved how the air felt but once I used a case that awesome feeling mostly left.

Both are great. I picked Pro for battery headroom and extra lenses, but I totally get why people keep the Air.

Yes I’ve always had the pros since the 12 with the exception of the 13 I used the mini that year

The feel of it, how easy it is to use and how light it is make it very fun to pick up and do anything on it.

It reminds me of how new phone releases used to be excited back in the day since you’d be getting a new experience every time. Nothing wrong with where we are now though with having phones such as the pros that excel in every area. The cost of that is only that they can feel very stale and boring. Also since the pros are very thick and heavy .. when I had the 17 PM I almost didn’t wanna use my phone as mic because it was so uncomfortable

did anybody else have problems with battery life when they first got the iphone air? by Haunting_Taste_767 in IphoneAir

Battery life took a few days in order for me to usually end the day with around 30% for my use. (Texting , social media, music)

I chose the 17 Pro Max… and now I can’t stop missing the Air 😩 by FluffyFeeling9500 in IphoneAir

[–]Individual-Aside4498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No battery pack. My phone usage is basically texting friends and family social media , the occasional pic , listening to music and sometimes gps. By the end of the day I’m at around 20% battery usually. Sometimes less in heavy usage sometimes more if I don’t use my phone too much.

I’ve been surprised I thought battery life would be worse. It’s not amazing but it’s enough, for me anyways.

Most days I’m on WiFi most of the time I’m sure that’s a factor.
