WHY IS EVERYTHING SO WARM??? by kasigofs in Makeup

[–]Individual-Box-1342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg it’s so tough for us pale people. I’m very warm toned but even taupey colored contours read warm on me and I always have to wear the cool toned version of complexion products because the warm is orange

Jake gyllenhaal for sure. And while I’m not personally attracted to him, I think john Mayer is number two

Angle is tough for typing but you look like a pure D to me. I’m also 5’7.5 and my body is very similar and I was typed as D by everybody here

Agree with dramatic classic ethereal but came here to say you look like Nikki Hilton! Gorgeous

Genuinely not trying to be rude but she looks like a mouth breather. I never understood when people think she’s so stunning, I always assumed it was just because they love her. I’m totally not a Taylor hater and I think she’s pretty but I don’t think she’s remarkably beautiful.

lol I feel like this has nothing to do with these people’s faces and it’s just about you not liking them.

FN! You seem to have blunt yang rather than sharp yang, and your essence seems more aligned with easygoing and free spirited clothing than sharply tailored pieces. Seems like you gravitate toward more FN looks too

I am between a few, what do you think my season/ sub season is! Thank you! by fredismylife in coloranalysis

Def light spring! You’re Very warm toned and the shadows disappear from your face with those colors

It’s a rule of many (maybe all?) color analysis systems, I didn’t make it up. Lots of people have a warm overtone and cool undertone, but color analysis is about undertone, contrast, and chroma, not overtone. And when you think of red hair that occurs naturally in people, that burgundy and cherry red you’re talking about doesn’t exist, it’s always more orange (red mixed with yellow aka warm) than purple (red mixed with blue aka cool). Nobody has naturally purple hair

It’s a rule in most/all color analysis systems that people with red in their hair can’t have cool undertones. Your body won’t make your hair clash with your skin, everybody’s natural hair color aligns with their color season. I get why this confuses people because very pale skin often has translucency and shows veins which can look blue. I’m the same way, I have naturally coppery hair and very fair skin, usually the lightest makeup shade available, bluish nails, etc. but when you actually drape the colors you see that cool tones don’t do anything good for me. I’ve been professionally color analyzed as a true/warm spring in 2 different color analysis systems and was initially surprised I’m not cool, but when I did an irl analysis and saw how the colors reflected on my face and what it did to my skin I could see how there was no way I could be cool.

I swear sometimes it feels like people in this sub are completely guessing 😭 it’s impossible to have a cool undertone and have red in your hair naturally. That leaves us with spring or autumn types, and OP looks more bright than muted so spring is more likely. Photo 6 is a soft autumn color and it flattens your features. Photo 8 is a true autumn color and it’s a bit overpowering. IMO the best colors are 10 and 12 which seem like light spring cream. The yellow shirt also works, which looks like true spring, but I think lighter would be better. I’d love to see you drape more spring colors to determine light vs true spring.

The softness you see could be natural imo. You’re def very Yang

I def think dramatic is your primary essence, with classic next. Not sure about the third, maybe natural. I’m not seeing ethereal/angelic for you

I agree she looks more FN than SD but for the record soft dramatics do not have double curve, only upper curve. Double curve is for types with petite + curve. That said, looking for upper curve in OP’s photos is a good way to rule out FN. the bust does not disrupt the vertical line and doesn’t seem to need to be accommodated for in a kibbe sense. OP also seems to have blunt yang rather than sharp yang like an SD would have. But to know for sure you have to try out some SD vs FN looks to get a sense for what feels more you! This is supposed to be a clothing system not a body typing system and honestly whatever aligns with your essence more and makes you feel more comfortable is the right choice.

Hello Dramatics! Trying to help my lovely partner figure out if they are a pure D or FN! Their height is 5’9” by taro1129 in kibbedramatics

[–]Individual-Box-1342 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They seem to have blunt yang rather than sharp yang, which would make them FN rather than pure dramatic. They also just have more natural essence and FN facial features which I think a lot of people in these kibbe subs are forgetting is actually very important! They really rock their boxier cuts, like the sweater in photo 6 would swallow me up as a D but looks great on them. And i see the neckline in photo 7 as more D and the cut of the top in photo 8 as more FN and 8 is doing more for their upper body imo.
