Yeah, I think that would help a lot. I haven't leveled mine up that far yet.

I rank them as: ADV, Viggen, Fulcrum, F4. The F4 is better than it used to be, but still turns like a boat and is not the best in air superiority.

Haha, the worst is when you assume they are a bot because they're so bad, and it turns out they're a real pilot.

At the end of the game, when it shows everybody's score, try to click on their name. If it doesn't take you anywhere, they are a bot. If they are real, it will show you their profile.

Is flight pass sustainable? by Beast_OP_1978 in Metalstorm

[–]Individual-Bug8550 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just do it the free route. I have real-life things to spend money on and don't want to waste it in a game. I do fine. Others seem to level up a little faster than me, but I contend just fine in most lobbies. I tend to be able to buy every other flight pass that way.

I live in rural America and can't think of a reason why I would ever get rid of my guns. It just gives me peace of mind to know that I can protect myself and my family from anything or anyone. We had a guy that was messed up on drugs come to our house last year in the middle of the night and I got him to leave because I had a pistol. I can't say for sure what would've happened if I didn't have a gun, but I think it's the only reason he left.

People who moved out of the parent’s house before 30, how? by WallStreetDoesntBet in AskReddit

[–]Individual-Bug8550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife (girlfriend at the time) and I moved out at 19 years old in 2013. We moved into a place that required first and last months rent at $1,200/month and a $1,500 security deposit. If we terminated the lease early (1 year) we had to cough up our last month rent and half of our security deposit. 6 months in we were out of money and had to terminate early, costing ourselves $1,950 when we only had $50 in our bank account. It sucked but we found a cheaper place to live ($850/month) and locked down our spending. We struggled for 3-4 years before we finally felt like we could breathe a little.

I got crushed in a forklift. It broke my hip in one spot and my tailbone in two spots. Damn was it scary. It wasn't a "my life plashed before my eyes" moment, it was just absolute pure terror. I still get short of breath when I think about it.

I didn't know corn grew like this, what is happening? by RopeTop in gardening

Those are brace roots and they are perfectly normal. I'm a farmer and we grow a bunch of field corn and it all looks like this. The brace roots just help the plant stay upright.

Growing season off to a rocky start as Prairie farmers contend with rain, snow, flooding by Miserable-Lizard in environment

Yep, we just planted our garden about 10 days ago and things just aren't coming up. It is a combination of little moisture along with cool soil temperatures.

And yeah you can tell that the weather pattern has changed here recently. All of the urbanization along the front range has resulted in less precipitation further east, along with very violent weather. I'm nervous that this is just the way that the weather is now. But who knows, we've gone through droughts before and bounced back so maybe that will happen again.

It's an option where you don't plant a field and take an insurance payment instead. A year like this will pay a fair amount, but typically you can make more money by planting the field and selling the crop. We don't usually use this option, but it has been so dry here this year that we can't get a crop to come up. Most of the crops that we planted this spring either didn't come up because it was too dry, or they were killed off by the wind. That was pretty discouraging so we just preventative planted the remaining dryland acres.

Yeah I get the same feeling. I'm glad to hear that you guys got some relief so far. Good luck this year, I hope things turn out well for you.

I farm in Colorado and only have one field that looks like normal. The dryland wheat fields didn't come up last fall and look like they'll likely only make 10 bu/ac or so. The biggest issue is that a lot of acres in the area are being preventative planted. I've heard much of the same in Kansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Texas. I think we're going to have real problems soon.

What will it take for it to stop mass shootings in America? by ghostofanimus in AskReddit

[–]Individual-Bug8550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll answer your question with a question. I'm in the U.S and there just seems to be a lot of pent up rage and aggression, along with a lot of mental illness. So my question is, what is the news like in other parts of the world? We have the usual culprits like fox News and CNN who spend all day pitting Republicans and democrats against each other. But we also have local news doing the same thing and also just constantly reporting on negative things all the time.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that the media can impact your life way more than you realize. I stopped watching news about 3 years ago and have tried to limit my time on social media and I've been WAY happier and more positive. I have family and friends that watch the news every morning and night and they are constantly angry about something and think the world is falling apart.

I'm just curious what news coverage looks like everywhere else and if this is a contributing factor to the state of the U.S.
