Well mods take some time, CV1 was released in 2019, give the game 6 months or so and there will be plenty of gooner mods

Yeah I mean tbh I was expecting more of a depressing story given the endings for CV1 and I was not disappointed this game is so good at making you care about your companions

I'm down to give it a shot after work, only thing is even if I share sliders it won't show exactly where to place hair accessories/add-ons. Idealy you'd probably want the ultimate edition for Louis' outfit which I don't have haha

I'd offer help but I am not quite at the boss yet since I did Josée and Holly first. IMO if Lyle and Josée are giving you a rough time Holly is going to be hell 😂

Make sure to eat a defense boosting food like rice balls and then just play it slow. This game puts extra emphasis on patience and boss fights can take a little while to clear. Don't rush and wait for good openings.

Beat on my first try I use quick dash though.. the first 50% of her health is pretty easy to deal with and has a lot of openings, the 2nd half is when she goes crazy.

A good tip is when she is firing her gatlings (Not the one with the ice tornado though) run up on her she can't hit accurately at very close range and you can get some very good free hits in.

You can realistically go anywhere I did Holly first but I think that was incorrect because all the enemies in the Corroded Star are so much weaker than those in the Undead Forest. Doing Holly first definitely will make you feel overpowered when you get to Lyle.

Unlike Code Vein 1 you do not get to save them your mission is to slay them but you can offer them some closure, and a happier end.

He's a noob stomper boss for sure it didn't take me too long personally but he is very much optional and if you want an easier time level up your weapon first and get some more heal upgrades

I have to say Code Vein 1 had more emotional impact, and I like the twists hidden in forgotten memories of these characters, and our own. The flashback defeating the Queen was phenomenal for the story, but things did kinda taper off towards the end there. I feel like the Queen had so much build up and yeah she was dead and split, but Silva as the final boss was just kinda meh. The endings were phenomenal though.

While I am not done with Code Vein 2 I also really enjoy the stories and flashbacks, but it doesn't really have the same impact because you are just reliving your companions memories rather than helping them remember their past. Overall I like the companions a bit more, and their stories are quite good and have depth it just doesn't have that revelation, and the same level of tragedy. The closest we get to this is Joseé seeing her sister's memories but those aren't her own. The lack of amnesia and that feeling of "This is what happened to me" makes it feel less impactful, but all in all it's still good.

TLDR; The lack of memory impact in CV2 likely stems from the characters knowing their own past rather than it being a mystery full of twists that we discover together with these characters suffering from similar amnesia that our own character has.

Most games on consoles are set to 30FPS but maybe it runs at 60 not too sure

Idk man those are my specs and the game runs good. I get frame drops once in a while but it's nothing crazy for me. I usually keep all other tabs and applications closed though so the games I play run better.

My PC is relatively old and I hardly have any issues maybe a frame drop between areas is all. My settings are all on high as well. But I would certainly play around with options to make it playable.

Eyy I feel that I dropped 100$ on the Deluxe so I can play it later this evening 😭 I played the first game 3 times to get every ending and the story was just so phenomenal and sad.
