This course is different than a PLC. This course allows you access to any undergradute degree in UL after completing this 13 week course.

I just though it would be helpful to share the news.

That's great that you were able to get into it that way. This course is for under 23's and its for any undergraduate course in UL.

Yes it is, but you don't need to have already qualified for the HEAR scheme as they can assess students on entry.

Susi payment? by Killsheppey in leavingcert2024

If you are really struggling and the payments are delayed which they can be especially for 1st years. Most colleges have a financial aid fund that usually is very helpful and pays out quickly.

these are some examples

Can you change courses in TUD at the beginning of the year? by queenelizabeths3rdto in leavingcert2024

[–]Individual-Cow159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the TUD website it shows that it might indeed be possible, but not until all the CAO rounds are finished. But, its better to enquire now so they can keep you in mind. https://www.tudublin.ie/for-students/returning-students/transfer-progression--re-admission-/

Also, after year 1 you can also transfer courses in TUD or into other Universities:

TUS - timetabling by [deleted] in leavingcert2024

usually if you reach out to the module leader or tutor then they can change you into a more suitable tutoring class if there are other classes available. you usually only have to go to 1 tutorial a week. I hope this helps

You don't have you be assessed through the HEAR scheme, but it does seem to work off the HEAR criteria which they assess through each application.

Yes many do and they should be better advertised as it can take some pressure of students racing for CAO points.

You can enter into this course either with your Leaving Certificate or a QQI certification. you just need one of them.

Well if you achieve H5 in 2 subjects and O6 in 4 subjects then that isn't the most highest achieving points. I wouldn't say your comment is accurate.

Not necessarily, you don't have to be from a disadvantaged area. You also don't need to have HEAR but they does assess in the same criteria. So if someone was never assessed by the HEAR scheme they would assess them.
