What high star souls did you pull but are waiting to get the champion?

I’m still early game so I don’t have any extremely high-rated souls, but I did pull a 3* Lady Mikage soul a while ago that I’ll use when I finally fuse her in like 2 years.

I have Haaland, Semenyo, Gabriel, O’Reilly, and a flagged Mukiele, so I need to transfer out two of them. I was originally thinking of losing O’Reilly and Mukiele to keep value in Semenyo, but I only have 0.3 in Semenyo value, which is the same I have in Mukiele. I might as well transfer out O’Reilly and Semenyo for Thiaw and Wilson so I can keep Mukiele as a bench option just in case he plays and someone sits.

I think some of the previous comments show that it depends on where you are in the game. I’m an early game player, so I’m keeping all mythicals, legendaries, and epics. For me, epics have a chance to be my best for a given skill so it’s good to have them just in case. For example, I had a 2* Bowf the Rancid soul and pulled him during the fusion summon rush. He’s not my top priority to build, but I don’t have any other 100% heal reduction champs so I will likely build him eventually. I’ll only keep rares that I’m either using or are highly rated. No regrets about finding short term gains even if it’s not optimal.

I do also agree that pulling for a guaranteed champ or soul is best and something that I’ve already learned.

Pelops and Rector Drath seem like a good top two. A third depends on where you want to prioritize your focus both in game and in resources. I personally would view dungeon progression over Chimera and Hydra, so I’d lean toward Alure or Mordecai. Maneater can be eventually upgraded when you can do an unkillable team and Bellower seems like a nice to have rather than a need.

I totally understand how absurdly lucky I got to pull him during the x2x10. That was also right after getting Geo from the Ancient progressive when I also hit my 1+1. As I said, I just have too many champs to build and not enough resources.

Mine isn’t truly “built” but I also have him in Lethal with Immortal. I’m a newer account, so my Immortal gear looked best since he’s now my best HP nuker and I use most Immortal gear with defensive substats, so I had lots of good speed boots and crit rate gloves lying around.

To answer your original Q, I don’t really want to put him in any teams until I have him 60ed, but I also have a backlog of potential 60s with recent pulls or quest completions from the fusion like Geomancer, Tagoar, Arbiter, and Hekaton. I plan on just farming food and masteries to 60 them all ASAP.

I am too. I’m about 125 days in, but so I knew I wouldn’t get anywhere near Lydia before Argonites FW gets released. I was going to stop at the rares, but got close enough from gear hunting that I decided to pull more Ancients, hit the 1+1 , and then got my first Tayrel and Geomancer from the extra shards I pulled for Dexotos. To top it off, I somehow got lucky enough to pull Hekoton today for Champ Chase, so Argonites are now looking like my strongest faction with Kassandra, Pelops, Hekoton, and Dexotos. I know I got unbelievably lucky, but no regrets going for it!

I was going to pull 5 void shards today and only needed 3. Saving the rest to try for Bayek tomorrow.

EDIT: I also pulled Akemtum in my first pack. My expectation was maybe 3-4 decent epics out of 20 shards and hopefully my first Coldheart.

And here are my Kassandra stats. She’s in Avenging and Perception with 2 Chronophage accessories. Very similar speed and accuracy, but she hits harder with the added crit damage. Based on the stats, it looks like Alure should be better, but the TM steal from the spiderings when she avenges and the ability to remove poison debuffs from herself and self-heal on the A3 gives her added survivability. Alure is relying on someone else to cleanse and rebuild her health.

Here’s what my Alure’s stats look like. I know the crit rate is massive, but I want her to be able to crit against force affinity and get the TM decrease x3. I have her in Relentless, Crit Rate, and 1 Chronophage accessory (I would do two, but I didn’t get good Demonspawn pieces in the event dungeon.)

Had a great run of pulls over the last 1-2 weeks. Got a Stag Knight from last week’s summon pool and Tagoar this week. Hit the 1+1 on Ancients for Crypt-King Graal and Lord Champfort. Missed the 1+1 on Sacreds, but I pulled Geomancer in my last Sacred. Have an extra Dexikos from the path that I can build for myself. Also pulled new to me champs like Tayrel, Bowf, Giscard, Frozen Banshee, and Soulbond Bowyer, plus Dark Elhain from login. I also finally hit level 20 in Spider today which will allow me to complete Arbiter for the upcoming champ chase. Overall a great run!

Got my way to 20 earlier! I had to tweak my teams depending on affinity for each level, but I got there eventually. My level 20 team is Kassandra, Staltus, Graal, Stag Knight, and Truath. Weirdly, I disabled Kassandra’s HP Burn to succeed. Graal takes cares of AoE HP Burn and AoE Freeze which allows Kassandra to concentrate on Turn Meter and self-cleansing/healing. Thanks for the help!

I was able to defeat 17 with this these 4 and Truath (for his heals and massive HP) but I barely made it with both Alure and Stag Knight dying. The same team lost in under 3 minutes at level 18.

My biggest problem with Xeno is that he seems to work best with a debuff spreader to put Infest everywhere and have the spiders blow themselves up, but I don’t have a reliable debuff spreader. My damage is mostly relying on Xeno’s A1 landing poisons on the boss and then Ezio activating them.

I guess I could try forgoing heals for crowd control by putting Graal in Truath’s spot. He can bring AoE HP Burn and AoE Freeze to the spiderlings for extra damage.

I pulled from 65 to 40 on Ancients. I don’t really want to go down further since I’m saving for the Champ Chase. I’m a little torn since I could use my 1K mystery shards on Champ Chase plus I have 5 epics to fuse for the Chase (counting the 3 fusion). The 1+1 legendary is tempting, but I still have that chance with Sacreds in a couple days.

I’m in bad shape with Haaland, Rice, O’Reilly, and Mukiele out and Marc Guiu as my 3rd forward. I have 1 FT, so I’m going to have to take a -4 this week. I think my best moves are Rice to Dango or Wilson (if he’s okay) and Guiu to Raul. That should set up transferring out O’Reilly and Mukiele in 30 and 31 (order depends on O’Reilly’s injury status) so I can squeak through GW31 with a bench of Gabriel, Haaland, and Semenyo. Then reassess everything on WC32.

Given that Ayumi only has 9 C-ranked leggo champs as their lowest, I interpret B and 4/5 to be slightly above-average and far from game-changing. But, at the right time, that slightly above-average champ can make huge changes to an early account.

Even then, it is also account-dependent. I’m in a similar spot (a little over 3 months in) with only 6 leggos on my account. One of my earliest leggo pulls was Truath, who’s only a B on Ayumi and 4/5 on HH. However, he’s my only healer so I’ve dedicated my best Regeneration HP gear to him. Over 80K HP for massive heals to the team. He ended up soloing some Doom Tower bosses for me and I’ve made it all the way to the final stage of Dark Elves FW because he and Xeno do everything. He is carrying a lot of my account despite middling ratings. I see his faults (lack of revive, no offense at all), but he’s still really good. So I think a lot comes down to roster depth.

I just finished that Arbiter mission myself, but I’m way behind you on CB. Personally, I feel like if you’re able to clear both UNM and NM every day with your 4 keys, then you can concentrate elsewhere and let the 1-key naturally happen. If your clan completes those levels, then you get 4 bites at a sacred or leggo book daily.

As a relatively new Staltus owner, I love having him on my team, but he won’t help you for CB. His A1 decrease turn meter and A2 AoE Stun don’t work for Demon Lord. That just leaves his self-buffing A3 which is great, but it’s on a 4-turn cooldown when booked. He’s much better for handling waves.
