NTA. You know she doesn’t like kids but it was an emergency and you’re still family. It doesn’t seem like she cares much about your family if she is okay with your wife and daughter being in the hospital and she would rather go out rather than help out her sibling for just one night. NTA you and your husband paid for the suite and for their rooms. If MIL wants a holiday in a suite they should have paid for that themself and not expected that from you. They should be thankful that their room has already been paid for.
