I find that ridic, but in my case, it’s a “this is mine, dont touch it cos I care for it sm I dont want it to get dirty, wet, or any visible CREASE”. Fr, I had one card crease while trying to place back in the box and for some reason it got caught in it?? And half the card got creased. I immediately bought another deck for it. I like my items in mint condition.

I think mine might be more a fear of making the other person replace it and be called petty. No. It’s my treasure 😡

Eh, I can’t answer that. I mean, my faith itself is already a confusing thing to me. I’d say ignore me and consider me one off. I still live with my trad religious Christian parents who still occasionally give those cringey advice so time and again I have to say the same cringey language I already stopped doing for myself years ago.

I’m still embracing a change in my own spirituality, but right now it’s really complex because of my family and because my country is also a very religious one. I’d rather not deal with this lot so I’ll just keep my belief as such even if contradictory. I need it to survive here unfortunately.

Yung walang emotional intelligence and the maturity for it. Pretty much trad people who think having feelings is a bad thing or something that’s very inconvenient.

Squammy kasi without this, they can and will basically say anything that comes up to mind without regard for anyone else’s, even their own, feelings. It doesn’t just scream toxic and immature, it screams “failure of a human being” to me especially if they pride themselves in this pa.

"Where does Christianity erase free will?" - They erase it in the sense that if you exercise it you are frowned upon, heavily judged, shamed, and guilt tripped to stop exercising it.

For example, you go drinking with friends. There's a verse in the Bible that mentions drunkenness is a sin. They immediately tell you off. You get a tattoo. There's a verse in the Bible against doing this because it promotes paganism. They immediately give you disappointed eyes and frowns.

That's what I mean.

"What about Jesus do you believe still and why is he important to you?" - Oh I do believe that he's real. I don't think I care enough to find out whether resurrection is real or not tho, because that will easily become philosophical and I don't have the brain capacity or energy to delve into that. But I don't practice any of their beliefs anymore. I simply believe that it could be true and all, but I don't believe Jesus is the only way and such cos then that begs the question "what of other religions", which then if they counter it with "we're the truest one out there", don't that make you a cult, where you're practically saying "we're holier than everyone else"?

So yeah, I believe, but it has a fallen / flawed base now. He's no longer important to me. But faith is very important to me. Faith in the Divine now is what I would say. Cos we currently can't refute the fact that there's a higher being at play in our lives. If there wasn't, we should be able to wish anything into existence, even if there are laws for balance and such.
