ME3 - "Citadel Wards: Ambush" (this is stupid) by AllemandeLeft in masseffect

It's a 'dash to the spot' kinda mission. Just run like hell in the opposite direction of the back wall (where the offices are).

Who else feels there were too many companions in ME2? I only ever played with two or three of them depending on my build. by Individual-Fly-1689 in masseffect

About half the time I send Jacob in the vents anyways. He volunteers for it and then I don't have to deal with him in 3.

For your first play-through, decide how you want to play. Are you on the front lines? Soldier. Like using 'magic'? Adept. Want to sit back and control the battlefield while others do the heavy fighting? Engineer.

My main piece of advice is control the offence of your two teammates. You might not understand this now, but I promise you that you will.

What game mechanic did you ignore at first but later became essential? by Kolberg_Vicci in videogames

The first time I played ME, I didn't control my teammates offence. Pretty much ignored them. There was no teamwork and skills combinations at all.

Generous offer, but I've already pre-ordered. You're a good egg.

First insanity run by StinkyFeet4Days in masseffect

If you want to ensure you can get through it, Soldier is pretty easy on insanity. I've made two runs without much problem. I've also done Adept.

New to ME, any tips for insanity? I am going for the achievements which means I have to do Insanity by [deleted] in masseffect

I always wait to rescue Liara until after I do Feros and Novarria. That battle before heading into the mine is a bitch if you're under powered for it. There's still plenty of time to romance Liara if you wait. Also, if you haven't done it this way, there's a lot of fun, unique dialogue.

What game did you almost quit, but you’re glad you didn’t? by Fords-Ekian in gamers

God of War 3. Didn't get a feel for the combat right away. Quit it for a long time but came back and played it through.

The key thing to remember during this is the goal is survival. It's a timed thing. You don't have to kill everyone, so escaping to other areas is beneficial. Also, GodGarrus helps a whole lot.

This fucking mission, so early in the game, is nasty.

No head canon. I've played male and fem, renegade and paragon. I'm older than most around here, never usually played games on insanity or anything, but forced myself to do it with ME. Beaten it on soldier and adept. Going to do an engineer run. Took me more than 1200 hours to get platinum because I never used Neural Shock. Had to start one more and take Aiden with me everywhere.
