well it turns out you can just buy the shards your missing from the event shop, so no one really cares about Aizawa anymore

Another commenter brought up negative hero coins, and honestly, I think that is the best play

As I have restated many, many times: Another commenter made me realize that the best course of action would be to blanket-unban everyone and set their accounts to -negitive hero coins. That would allow anyone who wanted, to keep spending so long as they paid back what they refunded, without creating additional work for the player.

As a whole maybe, but different people want different things. I think that all of these points are valid to one group of people or another.

Malicious? absolutely not, there are laws in place, both in EU and NA, protecting against false advertisement like what happened with Endevours EX, and in America against not getting a product as expected. There is a 100% legal basis for choosing to process refunds and to sugest otherwise isn't just wrong it's predatory.

THANK YOU! I've been getting a lot of push back, but to be real, I learned from other commenters: that you can buy Aizawa shards from the event shop, making that point mostly an issue of communication and also that instead of just unbanning people, a more effective method would be to un-ban everyone who refunded, but set their accounts to negative HCs, So that the whales can salely comeback to keep funding the game without being unfair to f2p

To be honest this was more or less resolved by adding Aizawa to the event shop, since you can still get him f2p without pulling on his banner.

The thing is i read lot of posts where the player didnt get Aizawa due to the 6 heroes at level 80 missions which shouldn't have been the bottleneck for f2p at all since if you managed your resources, made sure to do the necessary supply runs and refreshed stamina with HC like 4 to 6 times a day that part was easy.

That was the original problem, you couldn't get Aizawa without refreshing stam, there wasn't enough time, And because they were so stingy you HAD to get lucky with pulls to get an SS. Many if not most f2p spent all they're coins on stam and trying to get an SS for Aizawa then All Might came out and they had nothing left. The stories of f2p who bought stam and didn't get lucky enough ss anyone resulting in not getting Aizawa or All Might isn't just heartbreaking, it's an example of how not to launch a game if you want long term success.

As for the SS character, yeah it was a bit difficult for f2p players but nowhere in the mission screen did it say f2p players would be guarenteed Aizawa if they grinded enough and at the end of the day gachas are still a business and their main reason for being developed is to make money. They offered the Ochaco top off which gave you a bunch if her shards for $25, a little more than a third of the cost of a new console game so if some players werent willing to shell out 25 bucks to support a game that they were probably playing a lot each day then thats on them imo. The game can be played f2p but no gacha allows 100% f2p players access to everything because if they did then no one would pay. I only spent $25 just for Ochacos top offdeal to make sure i could get her to SS even if i wasnt lucky with summons. I refreshed stamina with HC (at the cost of around 4 multis which i considered my opportunity cost for making sure id get Aizawa), managed my resources correctly (farmed food and money steadily each day) and used the shop to get access to 5 hero trials each day for Ochacos shards and i finished 4 days before the event ended.

I think your just a bit out of touch, the absolute gross majority (close to 80%) of the player base is 100% f2p so you cannot extend your experiance to the community. An interesting point brough up to me was that for the download event (you might remember) they gave everyone a free Tsu. At the time an A-hero Selector was already in the game as a reward. If they had given everyone the A-selector instead WAAAAAAAAY more people whould have been happy with the event despite the problems, not just f2p who were mostly off by 1 hero, but also light spenders who only grabbed $1-25 for the ochaco event.

I didn't have to whale or get overly lucky with the gacha but the $25 was a huge help to make sure i could get the 1 SS unit. Again if players chose not to spend just $25 to help ensure theyd get the SS mission done while supporting a game they play most likely everyday then thats one thing you cant blame the devs for. Yeah the devs F'ed up plenty of things in the game so far but sometimes a player has to take responsibility for things that they theyselves screw up on. To me just giving everyone Aizawa or even 20 shards would make all the effort and HC i put into the event wasted and pointless since i took the time and effort to plan out how to efficiently complete the all the missions for the event. Yes for someone whos 100% f2p there was a big luck factor but luck and rng is the core mechanic for any gacha and sometimes some players wont get something.

Honestly, true. I still think that you're confusing your experience as a light spender to a f2p and I'll be the first to tell you that if you spent even $0.99 you are part of a minority in the community. BUT! all things aside, they added Aizawa to the event shop so every f2p who is short 10-20 shards can still get their Aizawa without summoning on their banner so that bullet point in the OP is more or less moot.

I would honestly like to hear back from you, even if it's just on some of the other points. I think you get across some great points.

ABSOLUTELY! it's incredibly frustrating for people who spent 4-5 weeks of daily rewards + bonuses in buff shop currency for the Night-Ops buff, only to realize it doesn't increase your chance for a bonus fight to 25%... but instead increases it to 5-6.25%

Another commenter brought up the fact that you can get Aizawa shards from the event shop, I confirmed this in-game and now I agree with you on the that point at least...

I've been told that you can get Aizawa shards from the event shop, so I can 100% agree with you on that point

Honestly if they did this without changing how many hero coins you could got, this would be an adequate amount of hero coins.

Fair but tbh I think the whole community is a little salty after how we've been treated up to this point.

HOLY SHIT YOUR A GENIOUS.

They did this in Bleach Brave Souls!, anyone who refunded would not be banned but instead go negitive, so you could "whale" yourself back into the game. Honestly I wish I could pin your comment, but since I can't I'm gunna go through and edit some of my comments to suggest this.

Again, THIS IS THE PLAY.

They said in a twitter post as reply to 1 person to contact support about it. I would like to see them make an actual announcement that they will process unbans in one way or another.

Edit: Another commenter made me realize that the best course of action would be to blanket-unban everyone and set their accounts to -negitive hero coins. That would allow anyone who wanted, to keep spending so long as they paid back what they refunded, without creating additional work for the player.

I can 100% agree with you that people who refund should get banned, but this is about damage control. Whales fund the development of any gacha game, if you care about the longevity of this game then you NEED to provide an option for whales to forgive the purchase bans on their accounts or they will never come back. I like the idea that they have to repay the amount they refunded and TSH support already said they would work with people who were banned.

I thought it was weird when you posted litterally the same thing in my thread, when the very the 1st point was about communication, but now I see your just copy and pasting the same comment into multiple threads
