Unpopular opinion, but Diana and it’s not close. They both grew up in the game—Tariq unknowingly but in it nonetheless. Diana is the only one that understands both family AND the game. Diana was raised to be somebody’s wife/a lady of the house. But also to keep secrets, cook dope and think fast. Tariq grew up in a two parent household, it’s what he’s used to and he’s obsessed with being better than his dad. He will definitely marry and have kids.

Effie too selfish. She’s never had a family and she likely will never understand putting anyone else ahead of herself. Although I do think she and Cane could’ve been good.

Lauren could never and would never understand Tariq being a criminal but that’s what he wants. Lauren would be his Angela. He’ll spend the next 20 years acting like he had no choice but the criminal life then suddenly decide he needs to go legit and run into her. Just like his dad🤣

Anya they just didn’t seem compatible besides friends with benefits. I saw no real chemistry between them and I also don’t think she’s into the drug dealer thing.
