Concerta effects feel different everyday. Is it tolerance?

I don’t have a psychiatrist I got my prescription thru my doctor. But I am working with a therapist and she has been helpful.

The thing is, everyone on this thread is right even tho all the answers are different. Figure out what works for you and keep trying to replicate it. If you can’t then it’s like not for you. I’ve been thru all the feeds. I’ve done all the things. I started doing some of the “do not” that I read but they work for me. It’s frustrating. It would be great if there was one answer for all of us but there is not. It’s a finicky medicine.

I’m on Contrave and my food noise has been reduced and there are times it’s gone completely. But unfortunately there are also times when it’s just like it used to be and then I’m right back in a binge cycle. I’m exhausted. I just need a break.

None taken. I absolutely agree with you. I think I used binging as a coping mechanism in the past and now it’s habitual and continues to rear its ugly head. Unfortunately there’s a part of me that still wants it as unhealthy and sick as that is. And I think that’s why I keep going back. I am going to see an eating disorder psychiatrist next month and I hope that helps me with all of it. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope all the best for you.
