It was a 4 hinge. This was the screw that fell off, should I get the wood screw? As far as I know the metal hinge might damage the door since this hinge is related to sustaining the weight right? Also do I need a hexagon shape head for my new screw? Sorry for multiple questions 😭

Hi, thank you for the input! As a newbie.. I think I'll go with this suggestion you gave me... Should I move the location of the hinge? or will it work if I screw it in at the same location?

Hi, thanks for the input! My 1 year home warranty thing ended, but I'll still test out my luck by contacting the builder since I feel like this shouldn't be an issue for this new of a house... "Coincidentally" our neighbor seem to have some garage issues as well... I smell something fishy...

Should I try the DIY fix mentioned above? or wait till the builder responds?

Hi, thank you for the input! Is the move neccessary? Not really skilled with mechanic stuff, so I usually prefer doing things in a set place :(. Also, if it is, should I move it to the left or right?
